La ministra de Salud, Carla Vizzotti, anunció esta mañana que a partir del 1 de agosto estarán disponibles en todas las provincias del país las vacunas pediátricas contra el coronavirus del laboratorio Moderna, para comenzar la inmunización a niños y niñas entre seis meses y 3 años y aplicar el refuerzo a la población de 3 y 4 años que recibió las vacunas de Sinopharm.
“Argentina está posicionada de una manera muy buena cubriendo todas las franjas etarias de la vacunación”, resaltó Vizzotti al brindar una conferencia de prensa en el aeropuerto internacional de Ezeiza, donde celebró el arribo de las primeras 2,7 millones de dosis de la vacuna pediátrica de Moderna e indicó que el martes próximo llegarán otras 700.000 dosis.

La primera entrega de 2,7 millones de vacunas pediátricas contra el coronavirus del laboratorio Moderna para comenzar la inmunización a niños y niñas entre seis meses y 3 años, y aplicar el refuerzo a la población de 3 y 4 años que recibió las vacunas de Sinopharm llegó la mañana de este viernes al aeropuerto de Ezeiza.
El avión de Star Alliance arribó poco después de las 8 y se espera que la ministra de Salud, Carla Vizzotti, brinde una conferencia de prensa en la estación aérea.
Con la llegada de estas dosis, Argentina dará inicio a la vacunación contra la Covid-19 en niñas y niños a partir de los 6 meses de edad y hasta los 3 años, detallaron. Además, podrán ser utilizadas también para el inicio o la aplicación de refuerzos en la población pediátrica de 3 y 4 años que recibió las vacunas de Sinopharm, añadieron.
