Los títulos de grado argentinos tendrán validez en todo el Mercosur
El Senado aprobó este jueves por unanimidad y giró a la Cámara de Diputados un acuerdo para el reconocimiento de los títulos de grado de educación superior en el Mercosur, que fue suscripto por Argentina en 2018.
El Convenio tiene por objeto el reconocimiento entre los países miembros del bloque regional los títulos de grado con validez oficial en el país donde fueron obtenidos, conforme a su legislación de educación superior.
El presidente de la comisión de Relaciones Exteriores, Adolfo Rodríguez Saá (Frente de Todos-San Luis), declaró durante la sesión del Senado de esta tarde que la norma busca que la integración entre los países miembro del Mercosur «sea cada vez mayor».
«Somos países vecinos, tenemos trato frecuente y cada vez la integración es mayor», añadió, y explicó que lo que se busca es que «los títulos de grado tengan validez en forma sencilla entre los países miembro del Mercosur».
Rodríguez Saá señaló que serán títulos acreditados en Arcusur para las carreras de agronomía, arquitectura, enfermería, ingeniería, veterinaria, medicina, odontología, farmacia, geología y economía.
«Se implementará un procedimiento simplificado que consiste en la verificación documental de lo que cada país ha aceptado como título y no habrá evaluación académica de los aprendizajes«, aclaró.
El acuerdo, que fue firmado por Argentina en Montevideo (Uruguay) en 2018, dispone que cada país reconocerá los títulos de grado que cuenten con acreditación vigente al momento de su emisión, bajo el sistema de acreditación de carreras universitarias para el reconocimiento regional de la calidad académica de las respectivas titulaciones en el Mercosur y Estados Asociados (Sistema ARCU-SUR).
