Se trata de Thiago Almada, quien fue imputado en su momento en una causa por «abuso sexual agravado por acceso carnal y abuso grupal» por una fiesta clandestina que protagonizó con otros exjugadores de Vélez el 4 de diciembre de 2020.
La abogada de la joven denunciante, Raquel Hermida Leyenda, ya había puesto el grito en el cielo cuando se conoció la convocatoria de Almada para sumarse al plantel de Lionel Scaloni en Qatar. Ahora fue más allá y dijo que buscará por todos los medios que la FIFA lo expulse.
En diálogo con «El show de Ulises Jaitt» (Radio XLFM), Hermida Leyenda explicó que mientras la causa sigue su curso en medio de varias irregularidades por parte de la fiscal de género de San Isidro, está pensando en hacer una presentación ante la FIFA. «Mis socios están averiguando el modo de que llegue a Qatar de la manera más rápido posible. Hay un montón de jugadores que fueron prohibidos para ingresar a Qatar. Thiago Almada está libremente», aseguró.
Mientras tanto, la letrada explicó que tanto su defendida como ella sufrieron amenazas, motivo por el cual la chica está aterrada y tiene miedo de salir a hablar, concluyó definiendo a Scaloni de machista y aseguró que Almada es un abusador «y de los peores porque utiliza el poder de jugar bien para convocar a otros a una festichola».
