La bomba de trotyl político que le estalló el sábado al presidente Alberto Fernández con la renuncia de Martín Guzmán al Ministerio de Economía tuvo su último episodio este lunes por la tarde, luego de que Batakis jurara en Casa Rosada para ocupar el sillón del Palacio de Hacienda.
Con la bendición de todas las terminales del Frente de Todos, la fueguina comenzó este martes con su gestión en el ministerio que, desde que regresó la democracia, tuvo a 28 sucesores entre los que figuraba una sola mujer (Felisa Miceli) y donde sólo cuatro atravesaron la línea de los 1000 días.
Batakis viene de la cartera de Interior comandada por Eduardo «Wado» De Pedro, donde se desempeñaba como Secretaria de Provincias. Para asumir en ese cargo, debió presentar su declaración jurada ante el Ministerio de Justicia y la Oficina Anticorrupción (OA).
Durante el 2021, «La Griega» entregó este documento financiero y de allí se pueden extraer al menos dos particularidades. La primera de ellas es que estuvo cerca de duplicar su patrimonio en un año (lapso que va de 2019 a 2020).
Allí se observa que en el ítem de «Evolución patrimonial» los bienes y depósitos a finales del primer año pandémico ascendieron a 14.340.520,01, mientras que en el comienzo totalizaban 7.510.447,03, según informó el periodista Gabriel Ziblat.
En números totales, el crecimiento fue de 6.830.073 pesos.
La Ministra de Economía ahorró en dólares en 2020
La discusión por la economía bimonetaria en el país es uno de los tantos debates que logró instalar en la agenda la vicepresidenta Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.
En su última presentación en Ensenada, mientras Guzmán esperaba para apretar «publicar» en Twitter y dar a conocer su renuncia, dijo: «Tuvimos una coincidencia, que es la economía bimonetaria, no es poca cosa». Se refería al encuentro que había mantenido con Carlos Melconian, cabeza de la IERAL de Fundación Mediterránea, el instituto de raíces cordobesas que propulso a Domingo Cavallo al Ministerio de Economía.
Para la Vicepresidenta, el bimonetarismo expresa «el problema principal que tiene la Argentina y que causa el fenómeno inflacionario». Sin embargo, muchos argentinos (no hay números claros que solventen este dato), eligen ahorrar en dólares ante un peso cada vez más devaluado.
En el caso de Batakis, registró en su declaración jurada depósitos por 69.460 dólares y ahorros en efectivo por 45 mil dólares, además de otras inversiones en bonos (BONAR, por ejemplo).
Vale aclarar nuevamente que los datos pertenecen al año 2020, y que todavía se desconoce su evolución patrimonial durante el periodo 2021. /Perfil
