Conforme a lo aprobado en el Concejo Deliberante Municipal se estableció un nuevo esquema tarifario para el servicio público de taxis en la ciudad Capital y se comenzó a aplicar la readecuación: $140 la bajada de bandera y $15 la ficha por cuadra.
Entrevistado por FM 89.3 Santa María de las Misiones, el titular del sindicato de Peones de Taxis de Misiones, Alfredo Gamarra contó que “la resolución 43 otorga 45 días para su aplicación efectiva a partir del 7 de julio último, día que se aprobó el nuevo incremento en la bajada de banderas y la ficha del taxímetro”.
La nueva tarifa de taxis estará vigente hasta fin de año, cuando por ordenanza establecida, se volverá a realizar una revisión de los costos y su correspondiente readecuación.
Eventualmente la aplicación de los nuevos valores sucede dos veces al año, generalmente entre los meses de abril y octubre, pero este año esa readecuación se demoró y por ello se está aplicando ahora.
“Este aumento era más que necesario y justo. Lo que nosotros siempre decimos es que los costos, tras los aumentos sucesivos que se produjeron en los combustibles, no se podían soportar más. En la mayoría de los casos absorber esos aumentos significaba sacrificar los ingresos diarios”, añadió el dirigente sindical.
Y apuntó: “Nos parece injusto que nos pregunten en base a qué parámetros se suben las tarifas, cuando un día te levantás con precio en los combustibles y al otro, con otros valores”.

“Estas subas, como sucede siempre que hay readecuaciones y cambios de tarifas: baja la demanda. Entonces, quizá haya menos demanda, pero también habrá menos rodaje y eso acomoda los números”, explicó el hombre sobre el comportamiento de los usuarios.
“Una vez que los clientes se vuelvan a acomodar, la demanda en el servicio volverá a sus carriles normales”, sostuvo Gamarra.
Y agregó: “No es que hoy tengamos una gran demanda ni estamos para tirar manteca al techo. Desde todos los frentes está muy mal la mano”.
“A todo esto le tenemos que sumar lo inescrupulosos que son algunos propietarios. Lo más lógico sería que, si sale cierto porcentaje de aumento, es que el trabajador y el titular vayan a medias con las ganancias a mitad”.
Sin embargo, se explayó el sindicalista, “se aumenta la tarifa e inmediatamente los propietarios elevan los costos en los alquileres y el trabajador otra vez queda en la misma. Entonces, todo lo que se cree que va a llegar al bolsillo se diluye en alquileres y en la comisión de la empresa”.
“Por esa razón, gremialmente evaluamos tomar otro tipo de medidas, que incluye denuncias ante la AFIP, porque nuestro sector es donde están los trabajadores más explotados, porque se negrea y se esclaviza al laburante”, denunció Alfredo Gamarra.
Y anticipó: “Si siguen siendo abusivos vamos a tener que tomar acciones que si bien no estaban en los planes, nos vemos obligados a realizar”.
“Mendigamos 15 litros de nafta”
El dirigente de los taxistas también contó en la entrevista el difícil momento que están atravesando los trabajadores a consecuencia de los cupos de combustibles.
“Todos los días los compañeros andan mendigando de estación en estación para conseguir 10 o 15 litros de nafta”, explicó sobre las complicaciones.
Por ese motivo volvió a argumentar a favor del incremento en la tarifa que se cobra para prestar el servicio en las calles.
“Por eso insisto: está más que justificado el aumento, porque de otra forma no se puede sostener el servicio con una tarifa baja. Hasta ahora nos habíamos visto obligados a trabajar a duras penas”, sostuvo.
“Con tal de llevar el sustento a sus familias, los trabajadores aceptaban esas condiciones, porque tampoco le quedaba otra. De todas formas, hay que trabajar para ver cómo se arregla la economía del país”, dijo.
