El servicio internacional del tren, que une Posadas con Encarnación, es uno de las pocos que aún no regresó tras las flexibilizaciones de medidas que dispuso Nación en el marco del descenso de casos de coronavirus en el país.
En ese sentido, el gobernador Oscar Herrera Ahuad elevó el planteo para el retorno de la actividad que aún permanece suspendida desde mediados de marzo de 2020, cuando se paralizaron diversos servicios para frenar el avance del Covid-19.
Sobre este punto, el mandatario misionero comentó que “hemos planteado la reactivación del transporte internacional del tren” en el marco de los planteos que realiza la Provincia a la Nación,
entre ellas, diversas obras para el abastecimiento energético.
Las declaraciones de Herrera Ahuad se dieron en el marco del lanzamiento de la segunda edición de la iniciativa ‘Eldorado te conviene’.
Allí comentó que desde Nación “se comprometieron y apuramos para (que el regreso sea) antes de Semana Santa”, tiempos en los que se espera un intenso movimiento turístico en la zona.
Asimismo, el funcionario provincial aclaró que se aguarda la determinación desde el gobierno provincial “para los próximos días”.
Dicho servicio que conecta la capital provincial con la Perla del Sur se mantiene suspendido hace más de dos años.
A mediados de febrero, el presidente de Trenes Argentinos, Martín Marinucci, había anunciado el retorno del servicio.
Tras conocerse el pedido desde la Provincia, El Territorio se comunicó con la empresa prestataria del servicio del tren e indicaron que se carece de una fecha de regreso, aunque
“tanto el personal como la maquinaria están listas para reactivar” el transporte.
Por otra parte, el gobernador señaló que Misiones cuenta con 1.000 megas que se distribuyen por todo el Norte Grande,
que se tratará hoy en Catamarca en el lanzamiento del Plan Federal Energético 3, que contará con la presencia del ministro de Energía de la Provincia, Paolo Quintana.
