La Administración Nacional de Medicamentos, Alimentos y Tecnología Médica (Anmat) prohibió esta semana la comercialización y el uso de siete suplementos dietarios por considerarlos “peligrosos para la salud”. Se trata de productos comercializados por la página web Noopept Argentina. La resolución fue publicada este lunes 21 de marzo el Boletín Oficial a través de la Disposición 2105/2022.
El organismo avanzó en el control de esos suplementos tras la denuncia de un particular que puso en alerta a la Anmat sobre la venta, a través de una página web, de suplementos. El sitio ofrecía productos para “la focalización, concentración y memoria”. Se promocionaban como de “fácil ingesta” y había opciones en cápsulas, polvos y gotas.
Otro de los suplementos que ofrecía se denominaba como “cognitivo inteligente” y prometía: “Focalización, concentración y memoria”; “Reparación de las células dañadas y los neuroreceptores”; “ayuda el mejoramiento en pacientes con Alzheimer” y “Reparación después de una lesión cerebral, isquemia y daño prenatal”.
Luego del alerta del usuario, la Dirección de Fiscalización y Control determinó que aquellos elementos ofrecidos al público no pueden ser catalogados bajo ningún concepto como suplementos dietarios. “No existen antecedentes de registro de los productos, ni de la firma y no se ha podido constatar que han ingresado a través del servicio de comercio exterior”, informa el Boletín Oficial.
Dichos suplementos, de acuerdo a lo que publican sus promotores, contienen “4-Amino-3 (4-fluorophenyl) butyric acid HCL”, “Noopept”, “Bacopa Monnieri whole herb extract” y ninguno de ellos están autorizados en la República Argentina, explicó el organismo especializado en medicamentos, alimentos y tecnología médica,
Por todos estos elementos desde la Anmat concluye que “corresponde considerar a estos productos como peligrosos para la salud y desaconsejar su adquisición”.
Anmat prohibió el uso, distribución y comercialización de Noopept – GVS -111 polvo; F-Phenibut; PURENOOTROPICS Noopept cápsulas; PURENOOTROPICS Noopept polvo; NOOPEPT sublingual, PURE NOOTROPICS; B-12 sublingual PURENOOTROPICS; y PURENOOTROPICS BACOGNIZE.
