Guerra naval entre asiáticos y españoles en el Atlántico Sur por el saqueo de los recursos argentinos
Según una versión de la prensa gallega, el pesquero español Playa Pesmar Uno, embistió “una embarcación de bandera china o coreana” luego de ser asediado por esta última en un intento de impedir la navegación y la pesca. Con dos boquetes en la proa donde le está ingresando agua, navega para reparaciones y evaluación de daños hacia el puerto de Montevideo.
Con dos averias en la proa, el Playa Pesmar Uno navega hacia el puerto de Montevideo.
El pesquero ‘Playa Pesmar Uno’ que en febrero de 2018 fue capturado pescando ilegalmente en aguas territoriales argentinas llevando en sus bodegas unas 320 toneladas de Merluza, Calamar, abadejo y raya, vuelve a ser noticia, cuando este sábado protagonizó una verdadera batalla naval contra un barco de “bandera china o coreana”, que supuestamente lo asediaba para que no avanzara al área de pesca en que esta última pescaba.
Por esa acción, el barco sufrió un daño en la proa y tiene filtración de agua que “no afecta de forma peligrosa a su navegabilidad”. De todos modos, no es nada que pudiera solucionar en altamar por lo que desde hace 48 horas navega hacia el puerto de Montevideo, guarida de la flota española que pesca al borde de la milla 200 de la Argentina y la que faena asociada a los británicos que usurpan las Islas Malvinas.
El buque pertenece a la armadora Pesquerías Marinenses, del grupo empresario Pesmar y ha sido destinado a la pesca “en aguas internacionales del Atlántico sudoccidental”, dice Faro de Vigo. Medio que, dando cobertura a sus connacionales y tomando fuentes de la propia empresa, “se encontraba fuera de las aguas jurisdiccionales de Argentina”.

El 5 de febrero de 2018, el Playa Pesmar Uno fue capturado por un guardacostas de la Prefectura Naval Argentino cuando navegaba con el sistema de posicionamiento satelital apagado dentro de la Zona Económica Exclusiva, llevado escoltado hasta el puerto de Comodoro Rivadaiva y multado con 7.5 millones de pesos por infringir la Ley Federal de Pesca al estar operando en aguas nacionales sin permiso, y además obligado a abonar otros 13.809.985 pesos en concepto de la carga que tenía el barco al momento de la captura.
El buque español en febrero de 2018, amarrado en el puerto de Comodoro Rivadavia.
Al igual que sucedió con el Playa de Rodas, que sufrió un percance similar con barcos chinos en febrero de 2020, el barco asiático habría intentado impedir la navegación del Playa Pesmar Uno. «Los estuvo persiguiendo», informaron desde el sector. “La proa del Playa Pesmar tiene dos boquetes en proa como resultado del abordaje”, indica Faro de Vigo.
“En el puerto de Montevideo, donde habitualmente recalan barcos como los de Pesmar o Nores para reparaciones o aprovisionamientos, deberá ser sometido a reparación en la chapa, en espera de determinar si la colisión ha afectado a otros elementos de su estructura”, agrega.
