La ciudad se vio atravesada por un nuevo fin de semana XXL, motivo de la tradicional celebración de Semana Santa, receso que dejo un importante saldo que impacta de lleno en el crecimiento de la economía local. Posadas viene escalando peldaños y posicionándose cada vez más como un destino turístico predilecto a nivel país.
Las expectativas fueron ampliamente superadas, a inicios de la semana las reservas para alojamientos presentaban una demanda incesante. Tal es así, que la ocupación hotelera termino alcanzando el 91%. Se registraron más de 3.500 arribos, con estadías promedio de 2 noches. En tanto, el gasto estimado por persona por día rondo los $11.230, que, con las más de 12.000 pernoctaciones, representan un movimiento económico superior a los $134 millones de pesos.
Para hacer frente a la demanda de los visitantes que se encontrarían paseando por la ciudad, el Municipio planificó un calendario con propuestas gratuitas para el disfrute de todos. Invitando a recorrer un completo y nutrido circuito cultural, turístico y gastronómico. Las acciones llevadas a cabo transforman de esta manera a Posadas como uno de los destinos favoritos de la región.
Por excelencia, los principales escenarios fueron la Costanera, los balnearios, plazas y bares, sitios ideales para salir a pasear, conocer, redescubrir y disfrutar al máximo de Posadas. Asimismo, la agenda de propuestas establecida fue variada y contemplada para todos los gustos.
Bajo una copiosa llovizna, el jueves, se realizó el Circuito de las 7 Iglesias, reivindicando la pasión, muerte y resurrección de Cristo, cuyo recorrido es una de las tradiciones de la comunidad católica para conmemorar la Semana Santa y tiene un desarrollo similar al vía crucis. Asimismo, se brindaron los populares recorridos guiados en sus distintas formas; en bicicleta por la Costanera; en contacto con la naturaleza por el Jardín Botánico; y a bordo del bus “La Jangada”.
Por otro lado, las propuestas principales se desarrollaron en el Parque de las Fiestas. El sábado, el plato fuerte fue la puesta en escena de, ”El Arcano y Misa Criolla”, un espectáculo que recreó los fragmentos más importantes de la pasión de Cristo en comunión con el diálogo regional. Frente a un gran marco de público, la obra volvió a consagrarse, cautivando y emocionando a todos. Como cierre, el Domingo de Pascuas, tuvo lugar el “Festival de Nuestros Artistas”, donde mostraron todo su nivel sobre el escenario la Orquesta Municipal, el Ballet Folklórico Municipal, la Banda Municipal, los Músicos del Palacio y el Coro Municipal “Arasý”, cuyos intérpretes y bailarines propiciaron un show exponiendo los valores culturales locales.
La infraestructura, sostenibilidad y economía en auge, dan cuenta del crecimiento significativo que presenta Posadas. Vale remarcar, la amabilidad, la calidez y la tranquilidad de los habitantes, como la cultura y tradiciones, decorada conjuntamente por el paisaje urbanístico y en pleno desarrollo; estos son los principales factores que ubican a la capital de la tierra roja como destino preferido todo el año.
