La primera quincena de febrero y tercer recambio turístico del año dejó un promedio de ocupación en alojamientos de Misiones del 85%, según datos oficiales del Ministerio de Turismo provincial.
En detalle, la ocupación de alojamientos se distribuyó de la siguiente manera: Puerto Iguazú y su maravilla natural alcanzó el 89% de la ocupación, en tanto que Posadas llegó al 80%. La zona centro, con Oberá como anfitriona, tuvo una ocupación de 84%. San Ignacio registró un 88%, Aristóbulo del Valle 78% y El Soberbio y el mítico Salto del Mocona registró un 87% de ocupación.
En este período el pernocte se mantuvo en un promedio de 4,8 noches, aunque también se sigue detectando algunos visitantes con estadías mas prolongadas que superaron las 7 noches, por lo que Misiones poco a poco se va consolidando como destino vacacional.
Los arribos a Misiones en estos quince días del mes de febrero superaron los 94 mil visitantes, generando más de 285 mil pernoctaciones.
El gasto turístico por visitante por día se mantuvo en los $2.865 pesos, por lo que el impacto económico en el sector turístico de la provincia de Misiones rondó los 1.280 millones de pesos.
Las expectativas están puestas en la segunda quincena de febrero y el fin de semana largo de carnavales, donde las reservas de alojamientos superaran el 90% en Misiones.
