Educación para mayor equidad
Ruiz inició su tarea en la función pública en la administración del Sistema Provincial de Teleducación y Desarrollo (SiPTeD) y fue una de sus promotoras. Un organismo que marcó un hito en la historia de la educación en Misiones. El SiPTeD brinda, desde hace 38 años, educación a distancia, pública y gratuita. Con el objetivo de garantizar inclusión y equidad de oportunidades, forma ciudadanos responsables y con herramientas para asegurar el futuro y sus posibilidades en el mundo del trabajo. Actualmente, Ruiz acompaña la gestión del SiPTeD.
Desarrollo sostenible para un futuro mejor
La legisladora, además, es una férrea difusora y capacitadora de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) promovidos por la ONU para 2030. “Los ODS son un plan a nivel mundial que Argentina adoptó en 2017 y también lo hizo Misiones el 1 de diciembre del mismo año. El plan busca lograr un futuro mejor y más sostenible para todos”, expresó Ruiz, en su momento.
Los 17 ODS son: Fin de la pobreza, Hambre cero, Salud y bienestar, Educación de calidad, Igualdad de género, Agua limpia y saneamiento, Energía asequible y no contaminante, Trabajo decente y crecimiento económico, Industria, innovación e infraestructura, Reducción de la desigualdades, Ciudades y comunidades sostenibles, Producción y consumo responsables, Acción por el clima, Vida submarina, Vida de ecosistemas terrestres, Paz, Justicia e Instituciones sólidas, Alianzas para los objetivos.
Proyectos de ley que garantizan inclusión
La labor legislativa de la diputada Ruiz, que entra en su cuarto año de mandato, estuvo marcada por temas relacionados a la educación y desarrollo sostenible.
Durante el período legislativo 2022 se aprobaron cuatro proyectos de ley de su autoría. Una norma que pone en relevancia el trabajo que se realiza desde la Fundación ODS en Misiones y otra sobre Parques Infantiles adaptados. Esta última legislación incentiva la creación de espacios recreativos con juegos adaptados para niños, niñas y adolescentes con discapacidad en los diferentes municipios. En los fundamentos de la ley, Ruiz planteó que no todos los niños, niñas y adolescentes tienen las mismas capacidades, sin embargo todos tienen las mismas ganas de jugar.
Otras propuestas presentadas por Ruiz, convertidas en ley, fueron la declaración de Patrimonio Histórico, Cultural y Arqueológico a los Petroglifos de Colonia La Invernada, en San Ignacio, y la de Eficiencia Energética en Inmuebles. La última iniciativa tiene como objetivo principal establecer lineamientos fundamentales para mejorar las prácticas que permitan el uso eficiente de la energía. Así como la adopción de estándares y etiquetados en inmuebles a partir de la utilización racional de energía y el diseño de políticas públicas.
Aun sin tratarse en sesión, obtuvo dictamen de comisión otro proyecto impulsado por la legisladora: que atiende el duelo perinatal, neonatal y gestacional, una demanda de muchas familias misioneras.
