POSADAS. Este martes comienza el primer juicio por travesticidio en Misiones. La víctima, Evelyn Rojas, tenía 26 años y su expareja, Ramón Da Silva (29) será juzgado por “femicidio agravado por la relación de pareja preexistente”.
En diálogo con Misiones Cuatro, la Abogada Florencia González (MP3873), destacó la importancia del inicio del debate oral y público por la causa del asesinato de Evelyn Rojas.
“Buscaremos que se dé una sentencia con perspectiva de género y diversidad. Fueron muchos años esperando justicia”, señaló.
González sostuvo que, este juicio también tendrá repercusiones dentro de la comunidad trans. “Marcará un antecedente para reconocer a una comunidad históricamente invisibilizada, discriminada, y vulnerada. Será un paso dentro de la justicia al reconocer la existencia de crímenes de odio para la comunidad trans”, recalcó.
El Crimen
El 27 de octubre de 2016, en una estación de servicio abandonada sobre la intersección de las avenidas Uruguay y Bouchardo, Evelyn Rojas de 26 años, fue asesinada y su cuerpo fue hallado dentro de una fosa.
La joven recibió una brutal golpiza y la autopsia determinó que la causa de muerte se debió a un “traumatismo de cráneo gravísimo, con fractura con base de cráneo” además, padecía de excoriaciones y hematomas en el rostro.
En cuanto al principal y único acusado del crimen, se trataría de su pareja en ese entonces, un hombre de 29 años, identificado como Ramón Da Silva, quien fue apuntado por un testigo clave que asegura haberlo visto con la víctima la noche anterior al crimen.
