El Gobierno de la provincia de Misiones decretó asueto provincial este martes 8 de marzo en el marco del Día Internacional de la Mujer.
Considerando que la fecha especial fue proclamada por Asamblea General de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU) en el año 1977, para celebrar a la mujer, su relevancia en la cultura y la sociedad, para establecer así un día de actividades que se basen en recordar los derechos de la mujer.
De esta forma el Gobierno provincial se une a esta celebración conmemorada todos los años, rectificando el decreto N°169/2001.
