El Banco Central (BCRA) volvió disponer medidas que buscan bajar la presión en el sistema financiero sobre el dólar, cuya escasez se convirtió en uno de los principales focos de alerta en la crisis económica que atraviesa el gobierno de Alberto Fernández.
«El Directorio del Banco Central de la República Argentina (BCRA) dispuso que se aplique la tasa regulada por la ley para las tarjetas de crédito emitidas por entidades financieras cuando el resumen de cuenta del mes registre consumos por un importe superior en moneda extranjera a los 200 dólares», anunció la entidad.
Es decir, quienes gasten más de u$s200 con tarjeta de crédito y financien el pago tendrán que hacerlo con la tasa regulada, que hoy es de un 80%. Las entidades financieras deberán notificar a los tarjetahabientes antes de aplicar esta medida.
«Los financiamientos de resúmenes hasta 200.000 pesos mensuales mantendrán la tasa máxima fijada por el BCRA, de 62%», concluye la comunicación.
De acuerdo a fuentes del BCRA que estuvieron en contacto con Ambito Financiero: si no pagás todo el resumen y en tu resumen hay consumos por más de 200 dólares, tenés que financiarte a la tasa de ley de tarjetas de crédito, la tasa regulada es 25% más que la tasa que el emisor aplique a las operaciones de préstamos personales y la tasa máxima fijada por el BCRA es de 62%.
En promedio (porque depende de cada banco) la tasa regulada por la ley de tarjeta de créditos es de 83%.
Tasas de interés
El Banco Central de Argentina (BCRA) elevó a 60% la tasa de interés de referencia que paga por las Leliq, a partir de la aceleración inflacionaria y con el objetivo de mantener en línea los rendimientos de las colocaciones financieras.
Esto representa un alza de 800 puntos básicos respecto al 52% previo y resulta la mayor en tres años y representa una Tasa Efectiva Anual de 79,8%.
Al mismo tiempo, el BCRA elevó los límites mínimos de las tasas de interés sobre los plazos fijos de personas humanas, estableciendo el nuevo piso en 61% anual para las imposiciones a 30 días hasta 10 millones de pesos, lo que representa un rendimiento de 81,3% en términos efectivos anuales.
Para el resto de los depósitos a plazo fijo del sector privado la tasa mínima garantizada se establece en 54%, lo que representa una TEA de 69,6%.
«La economía enfrenta un incremento en la volatilidad de precios en un contexto de fluctuación financiera no correlacionada con los fundamentos macroeconómicos del país», argumentó el BCRA.
Añadió que «en línea con los Objetivos y Planes 2022, la autoridad monetaria considera necesario acelerar el proceso de normalización de la tasa de política y del resto de la estructura de tasas de interés de la economía para llevarlas a un terreno positivo en términos reales, de forma de contribuir a preservar la estabilidad financiera y cambiaria.
El BCRA espera que estas acciones contribuyan a un descenso consistente de la inflación».
La decisión se encuadra en el compromiso de acercarse a ofertar una tasa de interés real positiva tal lo firmado con el FMI. En esa línea, hace dos semanas la entidad a cargo de Miguel Pesce implementó un «corredor de tasas» que procura alcanzar ese objetivo.
Asimismo, la autoridad monetaria elevó la tasa para las operaciones de pases pasivos a un día -Rueda Repo- a 55% mientras que para el rendimiento activo al mismo plazo se fijó en un 75%.
En la licitación de títulos en pesos que realizó el Ministerio de Economía tuvo que convalidar tasas de interés efectiva anual del orden de 90%, para poder captar los fondos necesarios para cubrir vencimientos por $ 324.000 millones
La decisión del BCRA se tomó en medio de un delicado momento político donde se aventuran cambios en el Poder Ejecutivo, y que también alcanzarían al BCRA.
