Por una nueva jornada de la fase regular de la Liga Nacional de Básquet, OTC le ganó en su cancha a Comunicaciones. El equipo de Fabio Demti pudo mostrar su mejor momento en el segundo parcial cuando encontró buenas posesiones, defendió fuerte y pudo correr la cancha, con Xavier Carreras y Jonatan Torresi.
Tras ganar 22-20 el primer parcial, el segundo fue 27-16 para dejar el tablero 49-36 y hacer la diferencia inicial importante para ir al descanso.
Tras la reanudación, OTC se hizo fuerte en la zona pintada, con Justin Tuoyo y Charles Mitchell, que sacaron a relucir su potencia y aprovecharon los desajustes de “Comu”. La rotación también fue importante, porque los que llegaban desde el banco aportaron en defensa y ataque. El tercero, fue nuevamente triunfo para el local 17-10 y 66-46.
Los últimos 10’ de juego iniciaron de la mejor manera, sobre el reloj y casi desde la mitad de la cancha Xavi Carreras metió un triplazo, para aumentar la confianza individual y colectiva para el cierre.
Luego, las principales acciones fueron para OTC, que controló el juego, se lució con los pases y con la ventaja favorable en el tablero, supo tener paciencia para trabajar cada ataque e ir obteniendo mayor distancia en el tablero.
Fue nuevamente triunfo de OTC en el parcial 29-17 y fin del juego 95-63. Con esta victoria, el representante misionero se quedó con su 18° victoria en 25 presentaciones, que lo ubican en las posiciones de privilegio de la Liga Nacional.
La siguiente presentación será el 5 de marzo, cuando reciba a Gimnasia de Comodoro; luego del receso por la ventana FIBA de la Selección Argentina.
