La Policía porteña reprimió una protesta de excombatientes de Malvinas en la puerta del PAMI
Pedían por el cumplimiento del programa de atención médica de la obra social de jubilados y pensionados.
Ex combatientes de Malvinas se presentaron este miércoles por la tarde en las oficinas centrales de PAMI para reclamar por las deficiencias en la atención médica recibida. Cuando quisieron ingresar al edificio, comenzaron los disturbios y el enfrentamiento con agentes de la Policía de la Ciudad.
En el transcurso de la tarde se viralizaron imágenes y videos que registraron la tensión entre los efectivos policiales y los veteranos. Si bien se permitió el ingreso de 16 referentes en la Agencia 7 del PAMI, el cordón policial contuvo el avance del resto de las manifestantes con gas pimienta.
“Los veteranos de Malvinas estamos en el PAMI Central, para que se cumpla la resolución 191. El Presidente dijo que iba a ser ley, pero mientras tanto se mueren veteranos por falta de atención”, explicó Alejandro Bareiro, ex combatiente de Malvinas, a través de redes sociales momentos antes de los sucesos.
«¿Tanta policía para «custodiar» a los veteranos de Malvinas?»
“Esa resolución nos otorgaba una ley para la salud del veterano de guerra. Fue concebida en 2004 durante la gestión de Néstor Kirchner y ahora el PAMI nos quita la resolución o no da su cumplimiento”, sostuvo otro ex combatiente tras ser consultado por TN.
Otro de los manifestantes declaró al mismo canal: «En el interior del país es un desastre, han perdido servicios médicos y no los atienden. Les cobran un bono aparte cuando nuestra atención es gratuita”.
Por otro parte, Alejandro Bareiro. quien registraba los incidentes a través de su cuenta de Twitter, ironizó: «¿Tanta policía para «CUSTODIAR» a los veteranos de Malvinas?».
