Este sábado, parten del puerto de Posadas productos misioneros para el mundo
En un paso más rumbo a la concreción de un hecho histórico de Misiones, los primeros camiones cargados con la producción misionera llegaron al puerto de Posadas en la noche del miércoles y continuarán este jueves. Los vehículos depositaron 14 contenedores que partirán este sábado desde la capital provincial rumbo al puerto de Rosario. Luego se dirigirán a Montevideo, desde donde viajarán hacia sus destinos finales en el mundo. Los primeros cargamentos contienen pasta celulósica de la firma Arauco y té de El Vasco.
De esta manera, la Provincia cuenta con una nueva alternativa logística que aporta una enorme ventaja para la producción y la industria misionera. Al respecto, el presidente de la Administración Portuaria de Posadas y Santa Ana (APPSA), Ricardo Babiak, explicó a Canal 12 que las empresas cargaron los contenedores con sus productos, los consolidaron y realizaron el procesos de aduana en su planta operatoria. “Estas cargas quedarán en resguardo aduanero en el puerto hasta ser embarcadas este sábado“, confirmó.
Trabajo en equipo
El titular de APPSA aseguró que para completar la primera operación del puerto consiguieron una habilitación extraordinaria que les permite recibir las cargas durante las 24 horas. “Habitualmente el horario permitido para gestionar los cargamentos es de 7:00 a 19:00”, afirmó.
También valoró el trabajo de los operarios que bajaron los contenedores vacíos hasta la medianoche del miércoles. Este jueves completaron el ingreso de los contenedores cargados. Estibadores, operadores de grúa, amarradores, administrativos y técnicos integran un equipo de trabajo de 30 personas, que se reparten las tareas del lugar en dos turnos diarios.
Por otra parte, Babiak comentó que recibieron consultas de diversas empresas interesadas en contratar el servicio. “Las firmas forestales de madera cerrada o con algún proceso industrial consultaron para sumarse en los próximos envíos”, apuntó.
Próximos pasos y beneficios para la cadena productiva
Al ser consultado sobre los próximos objetivos, el titular de APPSA explicó que, a mediados de este año, buscarán habilitar el puerto como terminal portuaria. Para lograrlo será necesario obtener la habilitación del depósito fiscal, que está en etapa de construcción. Contará con dos muelles de carga para realizar el check in y check out. También con una playa amplía para la estadía de las cargas, con una dimensión de 100 metros de largo por 50 de ancho.
“Una vez finalizada la obra, sumaremos nuevos equipamientos a medida que vayamos generando volumen“, indicó. Para agilizar la tarea de carga y descarga de los camiones necesitarán sumar una balanza más. Este servicio permitirá a las empresas exportadoras completar el consolidado de sus productos en el mismo puerto. Por lo que no deberán trasladarse hasta el puerto de Buenos Aires, Rosario o Zárate para completar el trámite.
Si bien la materia prima que se transportará en esta primera etapa corresponden a producción forestal, tealera y yerbatera, a largo plazo la reducción en los costos logísticos representarán un beneficio multiplicador para todo el sector privado y la cadena productiva de la provincia. A medida que aumenten los volúmenes de carga, la reducción será más significativa.

Además de las fuentes de trabajo que se crean de forma directa a través del puerto, surgirán nuevas oportunidades que beneficiarán a todo el sector productivo. Por la ubicación geográfica estratégica de Misiones, sobre una ruta fluvial que cuenta con conectividad con Brasil y Paraguay, el nuevo puerto de Posadas “permitirá que tanto las importaciones como las exportaciones cuenten con mayor velocidad y un importante abaratamiento en los costos logísticos“, comentó el ministro de Hacienda, Adolfo Safrán.
El titular de la cartera económica aseguró que la puesta en marcha del puerto de Posadas, una obra fundamental para el desarrollo económico, “demuestra el compromiso constante del Gobierno en concretar las inversiones en infraestructura necesarias para seguir fortaleciendo el crecimiento provincial“.
