Se trata de un proyecto integral que apunta a la profesionalización del gaming en la provincia. Desde el PoloTic brindarán la formación para mayores de 14 años. El objetivo es seleccionar talentos locales y capacitarlos en deportes electrónicos
El 23 de este mes a las 21 se concretará la convocatoria para el primer encuentro informativo sobre la creación de la futura e innovadora academia gamer misionera. Según informaron desde el PoloTic, la reunión se hará por streaming, con plataforma a definir, y adelantaron que se esperan hasta el momento más de 500 personas.
Se trata de un proyecto integral que apunta a la profesionalización del gaming en la provincia, a través de la generación de contenidos educativos para jóvenes de 14 años en adelante, que incluyen charlas, presentaciones de jugadores profesionales y cursos de perfeccionamiento para los juegos en tendencia.
Así lo explicó, en diálogo con El Territorio, Carlos Lucero, coordinador del PoloTic: “La primera acción que vamos a realizar es brindar charlas introductorias, para captar recursos humanos. Seguidamente vamos a empezar a lanzar torneos en los juegos más populares como League of Legends, Fifa, Counter Strike, Valorant, que hoy tienen mucho consumo en los llamados deportes electrónicos. A través de estos torneos vamos a relevar el talento individual, a partir de ahí los seleccionaremos y empezaremos a capacitar”.
Según señaló Lucero, la idea surge de ver lo que está pasando a nivel nacional e internacional con los juegos y por la demanda del público.
“Es increíble el nicho de mercado que se generó después de la pandemia y lo que notamos que manifiestan los jóvenes por dedicarse a algo que les apasiona de manera profesional”, dijo.
La vida del gamer de alto rendimiento es tan exigente como la de un atleta profesional. Se necesita de una rutina con cuidados y práctica, además de una constancia para alcanzar el éxito. Desde el PoloTic expresan que se generará un entrenamiento integral y asumirán el rol de formadores.
“Con esto me refiero a que el chico que integre alguno de los equipos gamers tiene que entrenar -tácticas del juego y la parte física-, dormir bien, tener un buen aporte nutricional, porque todo eso afecta el rendimiento”, desarrolló el funcionario.
Las chances por integrar un equipo profesional dentro del universo gamer son muy pocas, porque son muchos los jugadores que hay para captar la atención de los reclutadores. Esto se dio por el crecimiento desmesurado que tuvo la industria del juego durante el aislamiento por Covid-19, en el que más personas buscaron resguardo y entretenimiento en los eSports. A esto se suma que las ganancias son enormes en el aspecto remunerativo.
Como menciona Lucero, “ser gamer hoy es un trabajo, a nivel nacional -dependiendo de la experiencia y habilidades- estamos hablando de que ganan 200.000 pesos de sueldo. Europa está importando un montón de jugadores argentinos, la Argentina está ubicada a nivel top ten en lo que tiene que ver con consumo de videojuegos. Nosotros, que desde la provincia intentamos trabajar a partir de la disrupción e innovación, no nos podemos quedar atrás”.
Generalmente los integrantes de cada equipo profesional suelen convivir en una “gaming house” y comparten espacio, así se muestra en las transmisiones que realizan desde las plataformas. Esto ayuda al entendimiento y a la planificación de una estrategia para luego salir al campo virtual de batalla.
En la actualidad, el mercado de los videojuegos ya no sólo está destinado a niños ni mucho menos. Con este formato se llenan estadios y las redes sociales explotan en cada torneo.
Según afirma el coordinador, sólo para tener una idea global, las competiciones de deportes electrónicos generan audiencias de más de 400 millones de espectadores, además de mover cerca de 1.000 millones de dólares al año. Esto al mismo tiempo transforma a los ganadores en auténticas estrellas del formato, seguidos por usuarios aficionados al gaming en cada rincón del planeta a través de plataformas como Twitch de transmisión en tiempo real.
Conformar la academia será un trabajo arduo, dado que cada equipo se debe dedicar nada más que a un juego en específico, por esto seleccionar la cantidad de talentos para cada equipo será un proceso que va a demorar hasta un año según explicó el coordinador.
“Cuando tengamos el equipo queremos armar el primer torneo internacional acá en la provincia, para eso tenemos que tener el equipo profesional local”, finalizó.
