La emergencia ígnea en Corrientes, con una estimación oficial de 9% de la superficie provincial afectada por el fuego, tuvo este domingo un alivio por las lluvias registradas en cuatro localidades, con la expectativa de que se extiendan a partir de mañana, mientras se despliega más asistencia del Gobierno nacional y otros distritos y se anunciaron medidas de apoyo a los productos afectados con créditos por 500 millones de pesos.
El secretario de Coordinación Militar de Asistencia en Emergencias del Ministerio de Defensa, Roberto Corti, aseguró a Telam que, desde esta semana, se aguardan lluvias más intensas que aplaquen los incendios rurales en Corrientes.
Hasta el momento se registraron lluvias en Ituzaingó, Villa Olivari, Concepción y Loreto, donde había focos activos de fuego rural. En tanto, gobernador Gustavo Valdés indicó en un mensaje de Twitter que, por la mañana, se registraron lluvias en el interior de la provincia, en las zonas norte, centro y sur.
«Esperamos que el tiempo nos siga acompañando», indicó el gobernante que recorrió la localidad de Santo Tomé, en la costa del río Uruguay, donde trabajan dotaciones de bomberos cordobeses, de Buenos Aires y Brasil. Además, agradeció los aportes recibidos tanto de parte del presidente de Brasil, Jair Bolsonaro, como del senador Luis Carlos Heinze, el gobernador de Rio Grande Do Sul, Eduardo Leite y al alcalde de São Borja, Eduardo Bonotto.
En tanto, fuentes oficiales indicaron que el presidente Alberto Fernández «habla todos los días con el gobernador de Corrientes, Gustavo Valdés, enviando todos los recursos posibles», y reafirmaron que está «a disposición para viajar si es necesario».
«Es una tragedia ecológica sin precedentes y no es momento de disputas sino de cooperación, esfuerzo y generosidad», indicaron las fuentes, quienes resaltaron el «enorme reconocimiento a todos quienes están llevando adelante las tareas de lucha contra el fuego».
