El extraño silencio de Ofelia Fernández en relación a los incendios en Corrientes
A pesar de haber criticado duramente los incendios en el Amazonas en 2019 y haberlos relacionado con el gobierno de Mauricio Macri, la legisladora decidió guardar silencio con respecto al fuego que arrasa la provincia argentina y al escaso rol del gobierno de Alberto Fernández en la lucha contra el mismo.
En agosto del 2019, cuando el gobierno de Mauricio Macri entraba en su recta final, Ofelia Fernández se decidió a un embate característico de campaña electoral y relacionó los incendios que azotaban al Amazonas, en Brasil, con el gobierno de Jair Bolsonaro y, finalmente, con la gestión de Mauricio Macri.
“Se quema el Amazonas y no hacen una mierda”, aseguró. “Gobiernan para explotar sus ambiciones en el presente, sin convicciones puestas en el futuro. Este es el estilo de Bolsonaro. A Macri le gusta bastante”, sentenció Ofelia.
El archivo, sin embargo, no suele perdonar a nadie. Desde hace semanas, incendios forestales arrasan la provincia de Corrientes con una voracidad nunca vista. La desesperación de los habitantes, que ven sus propiedades quemadas y una pérdida incalculable en fauna y flora, se mezcla con la indignación por la inacción del gobierno nacional. A modo de ejemplo, mientras los bomberos sufrían desmayos por falta de apoyo, insumos y oxígeno en la provincia incendiada, Alberto Fernández atajaba penales en la playa de Mar de Ajó para los fotógrafos.
En medio de la debacle y la desazón, Ofelia Fernández optó por el silencio en sus redes sociales. Los usuarios, claro está, no se lo perdonaron. “El fuego de Corrientes no quema tanto como el fuego del Amazonas”, aseguraba una cuenta fake de la propia Fernández. “Avisen a Ofelia que se quema Corrientes, porque capaz que no se enteró”, remarcó un usuario. “Hola Ofelia, ¿qué te parece el Bolsonaro style que clavó tu gobierno?”, preguntó otro. “La bronca que le va a agarrar a Ofelia Fernández cuando se despierte y se entere que se quema la provincia de Corrientes hace dos semanas y su gobierno no hace nada”, remarcaron.
En respuesta, Fernández hizo un tímido intento de reacomodar su incómoda situación y aclaró que “ya he hablado cien veces de la ley de Humedales, el alcance de los incendios en Corrientes es devastador y no es una excepción. El Congreso Nacional tiene que dar este primer paso, no se entiende cómo sigue en pausa”. Sin embargo, era demasiado tarde. Su respuesta tibia, sin la agresividad que la caracteriza y la clara omisión del gobierno de Alberto Fernández dejaron en evidencia, una vez más, su escasa objetividad a la hora de clamar por los derechos de los argentinos.
