Alberto Fernández gasta más de 10 millones en embellecer el ingreso a Casa Rosada
Con la economía en vilo y Corrientes en llamas, el presidente buscará sumar dos nuevos pedestales de mármol a la Galería de los Bustos, una iniciativa del ex mandatario protagonista de la Campaña del Desierto e impulsada, años después, por el militar y presidente de facto Agustín Lanusse.
A través de un proceso de contratación directa, el presidente Alberto Fernández lanzará una iniciativa que costará 56 mil dólares, y que tendrá el objetivo de mejorar una idea que impulsó el ex presidente Julio Argentino Roca y que luego se incentivó durante el gobierno de facto del militar y dictador argentino Alejandro Agustín Lanusse.
Se trata del llamado Hall de Honor, que se ubica en la explanada de la entrada norte de la Casa Rosada. El mismo cuenta con relieves del estilo art decó, realizados por José Fioravanti, que simbolizan “La exaltación de la patria joven” y “El sentimiento heroico de la raza”.
De un lado del mismo se encuentra el acceso al reconocido Patio de las Palmeras. Del otro, contorneando la descascarada pared, se encuentra la Galería de los Bustos, en la que se encuentran los retratos en mármol de los ex presidentes argentinos. Será este el objetivo de los nuevos deseos del presidente Fernández, quien contrató para ello a la empresa Ragolia SRL, una compañía dedicada al mármol y al granito propiedad de los hermanos Franco y Luciana Ragolia, quienes actualmente coparon un alto porcentaje del total del mercado del mármol en el país.
Ragolia SRL deberá construir dos pedestales escultóricos de mármol sarrancolín francés, terminados con pulidos brillantes, con capital, fuste y base, terminados a mano y con detalles en broncería. La empresa cobrará por ello unos 56 mil dólares, equivalentes a algo más de 10 millones de pesos.
Los primeros bustos del Hall de Honor fueron realizados entre los años 1883 y 1884 por el ex presidente Julio Argentino Roca. En un principio se ubicaron en los recintos presidenciales y luego, bajo la iniciativa del ex presidente de facto Agustín Lanusse, fueron trasladados a la actual Galería de los Bustos en el Hall de Honor, en el año 1973. Dado que los bustos se crean imitando la imagen del primer día en la presidencia de cada mandatario, el del ex presidente Néstor Kirchner tiene una curita en su frente, emulando el golpe que recibió durante su jornada de asunción.
