Cabe resaltar que la marca china, con presencia en más de 100 países y regiones, ya comercializa oficialmente en el mercado argentino tres modelos de Redmi. En ese sentido, el primer modelo en llegar al país fue el Redmi Note 10 5G. En las primeras semanas de agosto de 2021 llegaron otros dos nuevos modelos: Redmi Note 10s, y el Redmi Note 10 Pro. Ambos tuvieron una gran aceptación por parte del usuario argentino al punto de «quebrar stock» en las primeras semanas.
Si bien se estableció por sus smartphones, la firma también posee un amplio abanico de artículos: computadoras, tablets, televisores, patinetes eléctricos, aspiradoras, entre otros. Incluso, a mediados del año pasado, el gigante chino, anunciaba oficialmente que había completado el registro industrial y comercial de Xiaomi Automobile Co.Ltd. Se estima que el auto 100% eléctrico de la compañía saldrá al mercado en 2024.
«Xiaomi tiene como objetivo ofrecer vehículos eléctricos inteligentes de alta calidad a sus usuarios en todo el mundo para disfrutar de una vida inteligente ubicua», informaba en un escueto comunicado.
En el país, sus principales competidores en el mercado de la telefonía celular serán Samsung y Motorola, mientras que Nokia, Alcatel, LG, Sony y Apple luchan por el resto del market share. De hecho, las dos primeras concentran el 90% de la demanda.
Hasta ahora, Xiaomi no cuenta con tiendas físicas propias, estos equipos se pueden adquirir exclusivamente a través de la tienda oficial de Xiaomi en Mercado Libre y los market places de Frávega o Red Megatone.
