Se cumplen 31 años del golazo de Maradona en la cancha de Guaraní
El 9 de mayo de 1992 Diego llegó a Posadas para disputar un encuentro de fútbol a beneficio del Pabellón de Niños del Hospital Madariaga en el estadio Clemente Argentino Fernández de Oliveira. Aquel día marcó un gol memorable desde la mitad de cancha.
Este martes, se cumplen 31 años de la visita de Diego Armando Maradona a Misiones. Aquel día, el Diez había llegado a Posadas para recorrer la unidad de pediatría del Hospital Ramón Madariaga y jugar un partido a beneficio del nosocomio. Más de 12.000 mil fanáticos presenciaron el partido en la cancha de Guaraní Antonio Franco.
Aquel encuentro se organizó como un desafío entre la selección de Posadas y la del interior, con Maradona que jugó un tiempo para cada lado. Entre los jugadores locales más recordados, estaban Moulia, Dante Pigerl, los hermanos Castillo, Villarreal y Benítez. Los espectadores de aquel juego aseguraron que fue una jornada histórica y que marcaría un antes y un después en el fútbol misionero.
El partido concluyó 6 a 3 para Posadas y El Diego marcó tres tantos. Pero sobre el final del encuentro, llegó su obra maestra. Luego de un gol del interior, Posadas se movió del centro, Maradona la levantó y le dio de zurda desde mitad de cancha, anotó para delirio de los presentes. El recuerdo que quedó grabado en los presentes fue un golazo de media cancha que convirtió el “10” y que fue relatado por el periodista misionero Jorge Balanda.
Otras visitas del Diego a Misiones
El 11 de diciembre de 1979 Maradona se presentó con Argentinos y por primera vez jugó un partido en la tierra colorada. El resultado fue lo de menos. El Bicho aplastó 8-3 a la Franja, pero todas las miradas se las llevó el pibe de 19 años que convirtió cuatro de los ocho de su equipo.
Otra visita fue en 2013. Maradona llegó a Iguazú para disputar un show futbolístico en la liga regional de la ciudad. En aquel entonces, el Diez arribó junto a exjugadores de Iguazú y otras importantes figuras a nivel nacional, como Sergio Goycochea, José Basualdo y Leonel Gancedo.
En una conferencia de prensa, Maradona señaló que las Cataratas no se pueden comparar con las del Niágara. Además, pidió que “difundamos las Cataratas del Iguazú y matemos el mito de que las Cataratas del Niágara son mejores que la nuestra”.
“Si la declararon una de las siete maravillas del mundo es por algo, porque se dieron cuenta que esto es maravilloso”, sostuvo.
La despedida del astro
El 25 de noviembre de 2020 el país y todo el mundo lloró la partida del jugador más grande de la historia. Diego falleció en la localidad bonaerense de Dique Luján a la edad de 60 años. Una multitud acudió a la Casa Rosada para despedir los restos del excapitán de la Selección Argentina, quien también recibió homenajes en el resto del mundo.//Canal12Misiones
