Un video grabado por un aficionado en la localidad de Puerto Piray, al Norte de la provincia de Misiones, fue subido a la red social china Tik-Tok y se viralizó en las últimas horas.
Las imágenes muestran la pelea entre una avispa negra de gran tamaño y una araña tarántula.
Alrededor de las contendientes, se ve a niños jugando, como acustambrados a la situación, mientras la lucha se desarrolla sobre la tierra colorada característica de la zona.
En la filmación de @marcelvideos, el insecto y el arácnido se atacan de forma mutua durante varios segundos y se trasladan por diferentes sectores de la galería de la chacra, ante la vista de los presentes.
Finalmente, la “batalla épica” por la supervivencia terminó con la avispa paralizando a la araña con su aguijón, para luego arrastrar a su víctima hacia su nido.
Según comentaron en el posteo aficionados al mundo animal y conocedores del campo, la avispa continuará con la incubación de larvas en el cuerpo de la araña, que luego será deborada por dentro hasta alcanzar la muerte.
“La batalla épica” de Puerto Piray, como titularon el video, tiene más de 717.000 reproducciones y más de 2.000 me gusta.
Avispa San Jorge vs Tarántula
La avispa San Jorge es un insecto de color azul metálico, su tamaño varía entre el macho -más pequeño- y la hembra -más robusta-, al igual que la forma de sus antenas.

La toxicidad del veneno de los ejemplares pertenecientes a los géneros Aphonopelma, Brachypelma, y Sericopelma no pone en peligro la vida de los humanos.
