La reanudación del juego fue clave, allí como en el primer punto, Boca sacó a relucir su experiencia y potencial. “Nos costó mucho el segundo tiempo, aunque creo que tuvimos un partido defensivo muy bueno a pesar de algunos errores. Allá debemos hacer un partido inteligente y soltarnos más”, precisó Gastón Córdoba, jugador de OTC a Canal 12.
La actitud no fue suficiente
En el último parcial, los dirigidos por Fabio Demti intentaron acortar la ventaja con mucha actitud; pero no fue suficiente. Cuando parecía reaccionar, Boca otra vez metía buenos parciales para acomodar nuevamente el marcador a su favor y jugar con la diferencia que le daba algunas licencias. Así fue hasta el final, si bien los locales ganaron el parcial 17-14, no fue suficiente para revertir el resultado final que fue 59-68 para el equipo porteño.
Por su parte el entrenador celeste, sostuvo que haber perdido los dos partidos no es el mejor panorama, “la serie no está terminada pero el margen de error es muy pequeño. Debemos entender lo que estamos jugando y mejorar la ofensiva”.
OTC defendió bien, bajó el goleo de Boca; pero su ataque no estuvo fino. Con 47% de dobles (14/30) 25% en triples (8/32) y 47% (7/15) en libres; que estuvieron lejos del 61% (17/28) de la visita en dobles, 25% en triples (7/26) y 72% (13/18) en simples. De esta manera, los Xeneizes se pusieron 0-2 en la serie, quedando a un triunfo del pase a las semifinales.
