La Provincia acuerda un paquete de obras de impacto ambiental, productivo y social
Oscar Herrera Ahuad recibió en Posadas al ministro de Obras Públicas de la Nación, Gabriel Katopodis, para sellar un convenio de infraestructura vial, hídrica y urbana, entre las que se destacan: el circuito aeróbico en Iguazú y la reconstrucción de la ruta 2, punto fundamental del corredor bioceánico del norte grande.
La Provincia y el Ministerio de Obras Públicas de la Nación firmaron este martes un convenio para la ejecución de obras en Misiones. Entre los principales proyectos que se van a crear, se encuentra el circuito aeróbico Ñepyru Jeguata, que conectará la ciudad de Iguazú con el Parque Nacional Cataratas, y la reconstrucción de la ruta costera 2, con la puesta en funcionamiento de los puentes sobre el arroyo Chancay, Santa Rita y Yabotí.
El paquete de obras gestionadas por el gobernador Oscar Herrera Ahuad también incluye la travesía urbana de Jardín América; la repavimentación de la Ruta provincial 7, que conecta Aristóbulo del Valle con Jardín América; el sistema de tratamiento de líquidos cloacales en San Pedro y Wanda; el sistema de agua potable en El Soberbio y Leandro N. Alem; la segunda etapa de la ampliación del sistema de agua potable en Jardín América; la segunda etapa del sistema de provisión de agua potable en Posadas y Garupá; la ampliación del módulo uno, auditorio y aulas, y la construcción de módulos áulicos en la Universidad Nacional de Misiones; la segunda etapa de construcción del edificio áulico en el campus de la Universidad Nacional del Alto Uruguay; el centro de acopio y comercialización de productos de la agricultura local en San Vicente; los 15 nuevos centros de desarrollo infantil; las cuatro escuelas técnicas de educación profesional secundaria en Posadas, Apóstoles, Cerro Azul y Campo Grande, y los 71 proyectos del Plan Argentina Hace en 54 localidades.
Durante la conferencia de prensa en Casa de Gobierno, Herrera Ahuad destacó que estas obras tienen un “impacto en el área social y productiva que es muy positivo para Misiones” debido a que los habitantes de la zona –sobre todo, la producción primaria de ocho municipios– se ahorrarán 70 kilómetros de trayecto al conectar de manera directa la ruta 2 con Brasil, como también con la ciudad correntina de Santo Tomé, en una hoja que se espera que tenga destino final en Buenos Aires.
En cuanto a la obra del circuito de ciclovía y senda peatonal Iguazú destinado también al uso de vehículos eléctricos, el mandatario provincial aseguró que responde a un “estricto cuidado del medioambiente”. Ocurre que el 40% de la población que se traslada de la ciudad al Parque Iguazú, lo hace a través de vehículos con combustibles que contaminan el ambiente. Con el respaldo de los estudios de impacto ambiental, explicó que con la travesía “vamos a tener un porcentaje importante de gente que va a llegar de manera diferente y que va a cuidar de la naturaleza”.
En otro tramo del acto, Herrera Ahuad se refirió a las obras de saneamiento en diferentes puntos de la provincia. Explicó que los servicios básicos para los habitantes es una prioridad para que el crecimiento y desarrollo de los pueblos sea “sostenido en cincuenta años”. También aprovechó la oportunidad para valorar la predisposición de Katopodis al escuchar la demanda de la provincia: “es la primera vez en doce años que hay una visión de un esquema integral”. Las obras de cloacas y agua potable en Apóstoles, Aristóbulo del Valle, Leandro N. Alem, Posadas y Bernardo de Irigoyen “tienen un estricto sentido humano” y va a solucionar los problemas de los vecinos a corto y largo plazo.
Al momento de mencionar las obras de escuelas técnicas, Herrera Ahuad le recordó al ministro nacional que el 42% de la población misionera tiene menos de 18 años. En este sentido, sostuvo que no se trata de la simple construcción de edificios, sino que estos nuevos espacios “generarán arraigo para que nuestros jóvenes se formen”.
Por su parte, Gabriel Katopodis detalló que en los casi cuatro años de gestión, la inversión en la provincia fue de $99.261 millones y que el destino de esos fondos “reafirmó el sentido federal” del gobierno nacional, en sintonía con “las prioridades que el gobernador Herrera Ahuad nos ha ido marcando y definiendo”.
En materia vial, el ministro de Obras Públicas dijo que “hay un plan de desarrollo que es mucho más federal que hace cien años”, lo que se traduce en “mejorar las economías regionales y desarrollar los tres corredores bioceánicos” para que el sistema de conectividad nacional sea “mejor integrado y no termine en el puerto de Buenos Aires”.
Katopodis recordó cuando se reunió por primera vez con Herrera Ahuad para “trabajar en un claro diálogo y fijar las prioridades que han permitido la creación de 279 obras y proyectos, como también la generación de 7.466 puestos de trabajo” en la provincia. También valoró el “fuerte protagonismo de los diez gobernadores” del Norte Grande y la “fuerte inversión y decisión de priorizar, por encima de la media nacional, para financiar tantos años de abandono y de deudas que afectaron a las obras”.
“Con el esfuerzo de Misiones y la espalda federal, estamos poniendo a la región un escalón diferente”, indicó Katopodis al referirse del acuerdo firmado con la Provincia para la continuidad de obras. Además, aseguró que esto “achicará las brechas para tener más igualdad y una matriz de desarrollo que potencia el crecimiento del sector productivo y económico de la provincia”.
En el acto de la firma de convenio también estuvieron presentes el intendente de Posadas, Leonardo Stelatto; el presidente de Vialidad, Sebastián Macias; el gerente ejecutivo de Vialidad nacional, Federico Stiz, y autoridades de parques nacionales.
