En ambos cruces fronterizos a Brasil, la mayoría de los precios coinciden. Aproximadamente cada hora parte el servicio.
Para el caso del paso entre San Javier y Porto Xavier, el servicio está habilitado de lunes a viernes de 8 a 11.30, ya que sale aproximadamente cada hora (8.15; 9; 10; 11 y 11.30) y de 14 a 18 (con salidas 14.15; 15; 16; 17 y 17.30).
En tanto los sábados, domingos y feriados, operan de 9 a 11 (salidas 9:15; 10 y 10.30) y de 16 a 18 (16.15; 17 y 17.30).
El sistema de transporte fluvial, que volvió a operar desde el 5 de febrero ya que el pedido de los diputados nacionales Barbaro y Arjol se hizo escuchar es utilizado tanto para residentes en estas fronteras como también para quienes deciden viajar a algunas playas emplazadas en Río Grande do Sul.
Para cruzar en auto o camioneta de Alba Posse a Puerto Mauá o de San Javier a Porto Xavier, el monto es de 1.300 pesos e incluye al conductor. Luego se deben abonar 300 pesos más por cada acompañante.
Para cruzar con moto es de $700 pesos y acompañante otros 300 pesos.
En ambas fronteras coinciden los montos para colectivos grandes (3.500) y pasajeros de colectivos cada uno 200 pesos como los minibuses 2.000 pesos.
En tanto, en Alba Posse se añade otra categoría, la de colectivos chicos a $ 2.500.
Diferencias en transporte
También están establecidas las tarifas para transporte de cargas por la prestadora de servicios Navegación Puerto Alba Posse SRL y Navegación San Javier SRL. Aquí existen algunas diferencias.
En el caso del servicio que opera en Alba Posse para camiones chicos vacíos cuesta $3.000) y para camiones chicos cargados $5.000.
En San Javier se iguala el precio para camión chico (cargado o vacío) a 3.000 pesos. Lo mismo sucede con camión grande cargado o vacío, cuyo monto es de 5.000 y coincide con la tarifa en Alba Posse y San Javier.
