Un ladrón murió mientras era linchado por vecinos que decidieron hacer justicia por mano propia, en momentos en que intentaba robar a una mujer en La Rioja.
El hecho ocurrió en barrio Francisco Primero durante la tarde del lunes, cuando el delincuente identificado como Matías Hidalgo ingresó a una vivienda donde se encontraban la víctima con sus hijas.
La dueña de casa comenzó a gritar, y un vecino que la escuchó llegó al lugar con otros dos hombres para defenderla.
Los hombres se toparon con Hidalgo, que, según las primeras versiones, sostenía una llave cruz. Después de un forcejeo, uno de los vecinos le arrebató la herramienta y comenzó a golpearlo.
La situación se tornó más tensa cuando un grupo empezó a atacarlo en el piso. Esto generó un enojo efusivo en todo el barrio y mientras era linchado convulsionó y murió de un paro cardiorrespiratorio.
La Policía confirmó que el delincuente sufrió un desmayo y que no llegó a ser trasladado al hospital zonal porque minutos después murió en el lugar de los hechos.
Personal policial de diversas áreas, perteneciente a la Comisaría Tercera, Policía Judicial, División de Homicidio dependiente de la Dirección de Investigaciones se encargan de las averiguaciones pertinentes.
Hidalgo tenía un importante prontuario delictivo, y el hecho generó gran revuelo en el barrio y en la provincia.
«La gente de homicidios está abocada a la investigación», dijo a Cadena 3 el juez Daniel Barria. Hasta el momento, no hay detenidos en la causa.
