De la mano de Acosta Dojo, bajo la conducción del Instructor Nacional Javier Acosta, 4° Dan JKA, miembro de la Federación Misionera de Karate, las clases se imparten desde el 01 de Marzo en instalaciones de la Escuela Provincial 250 “Sargento Juán Bautista Cabral” , sito en Luchessi 2599 y Bermudez de la ciudad de Posadas.
Destinada a niños, jóvenes y adultos de ambos sexos, las enseñanzas son los días Lunes, Miércoles y Viernes de 19:00 a 21:00 horas, abordándose aspéctos teóricos y prácticos orientados a la inducción del aprendizaje de las técnicas de Karate buscando templar el espíritu mientras se fortalece el cuerpo.De acuerdo al origen cultural Japonés del Arte Marcial, los practicantes aprenden disciplina, respeto, autosuperación, adaptación al esfuerzo físico y mental para lograr sus objetivos, coordinación, equilibrio, armonía física y mental entre otras cosas.
Siguiendo los pasos del introductor del Karate en Misiones, Sensei Gil Joué Acosta y de su padre Sensei Atilio Antonio Acosta, destacado referente de la disciplina en la tierra colorada y la región, Javier Acosta integró durante 15 años la Selección Argentina en Torneos Mundiales y competencias nacionales e internacionales cosechando grandes logros, especializándose durante dos años en la Universidad de Kumazawa (Japón) con los principales exponentes de la Japan Karate Association (JKA).
