En el marco de la entrega de créditos a diferentes municipios para la compra de maquinaria vial, el gobernador Oscar Herrera Ahuad entregó al presidente de Oberá Tenis Club, Sergio Ferversani, un aporte financiero para realizar diferentes obras en el club.
Durante el acto, el mandatario destacó el crecimiento deportivo del básquetbol misionero y citó como ejemplo el gran presente que atraviesa el Celeste. Precisamente, el conjunto obereño viajará a Buenos Aires para disputar el fin de semana la fase final de la Copa Súper 20, uno de los torneos que disputan los equipos que componen la máxima categoría del básquet nacional.
El gobernador destacó el buen andar de Oberá Tenis Club, “sobre todo en este sprint final donde pudimos acompañar, ha sido el logro de todos los misioneros que nos sentimos muy orgullosos y felices“. Además, comentó que el lunes presenció la victoria de Tokio ante Sarmiento de Formosa a cancha llena. “La gente se volcó masivamente a acompañar los equipos locales y eso para nosotros es fundamental“, reflexionó Herrera Ahuad.
Tras la entrega del aporte y en conferencia, ratificó su compromiso de acompañar a OTC en su campaña en la Liga Nacional de Básquetbol. “Este fin de semana casi un millón trescientos mil misioneros vamos a estar alentando y acompañando al equipo”, sostuvo el gobernador.

En comunicación con Canal 12, el presidente de OTC, Sergio Feversani, explicó que estos recursos son muy útiles porque los ayudan a mejorar. Valoró la iniciativa de Hugo Passalacqua de instalar el deporte como una política de Estado y que en la gestión de Oscar Herrera Ahuad haya seguido. “El deporte misionero ha cambiado notablemente y se ve reflejado en los resultados deportivos de todas las disciplinas, con infraestructura y acompañamiento que nos permite seguir creciendo”, remarcó el dirigente.

La ilusión Celeste en el templo del rock
La Liga Nacional de Básquetbol confirmó los cruces y horarios para la fase final de la Copa Súper 20. Se disputará en el estadio de Obras Sanitarias, el Templo del Rock, en la ciudad de Buenos Aires los días 11 y 12 de febrero. Oberá Tenis Club (OTC) jugará frente a Gimnasia de Comodoro desde las 19. En tanto que la otra llave tendrá como protagonistas a Instituto de Córdoba y el local Obras desde las 21.30.
Los de Comodoro se clasificaron con anticipación con récord 15-4, mientras que el Celeste aguardó su chance con récord de 14-5 al igual que Quimsa, pero con ventaja ante ellos por haberles ganado en Oberá. Por la otra zona, desde las 21.30 horas, se verán las caras Instituto y Obras. Ambos equipos aseguraron su boleto a las finales con un par de fechas de anticipación y con un récord de 15 victorias y 4 derrotas.
La cita para la Gran Final será el domingo a las 20.30 horas. La Copa Súper 20 se disputará en su totalidad en el Templo del Rock, Buenos Aires, con capacidad para tres mil espectadores.
