Confirman el regreso del tren internacional y el servicio Garupá-Posadas
Sin fecha concreta, Martín Marinucci, presidente de Trenes Argentinos aseguró este lunes en Posadas “que este año se reactiva el servicio, resta definirse el cuadro tarifario” del tren a Encarnación. Analizan extender la concesión de Casimiro.
Martín Marinucci, presidente de Trenes Argentinos e Infraestructura, que depende del ministerio de Transporte de la Nación, aseguró este lunes en Posadas que “en el caso del servicio de tren entre Garupá y Posadas estamos avanzando en el cuadro tarifario, en ver el tipo de circulación que llevaría adelante la concesión y en poder darle a la empresa que hoy tiene esa operación, el plazo suficiente para recuperar estos dos años que no han tenidos posibilidad de operar”.
Adelantó que “en 2 o 3 semanas estaré nuevamente acá en Posadas con una agenda puramente ferroviaria, pero no tengo dudas que arrancamos este año. Estamos definiendo dos cuestiones, una es la operación entre Garupá y Posadas y lo otro es el cuadro tarifario, tanto del internacional como el del tren urbano”.
También dijo que “estamos avanzando en la prórroga de la concesión debido a estos dos años que no pudieron circular los trenes en Posadas”.
Con relación al estado de las vías para la prestación del servicio, Marinucci admitió que “visiblemente están bien de acuerdo a la inspección que hemos realizado. Estamos avanzando en una obra de renovación de durmientes y garantizar fijaciones y tira fondos que en algunos sectores necesitamos brindar mayor seguridad, pero hoy podría estar circulando el tren”.

Consultado acerca de la vuelta del tren de pasajeros entre Buenos Aires y Posadas, Marinucci aclaró que “en ese caso hay una necesidad de inversión sobre la traza ferroviaria en la vía que es muy grande, que lo venimos pensando y charlando con el ministro Guerrera, buscando financiamiento externo para poder llevarlo adelante como con la línea San Martín y a Belgrano, para hacerlo también con la línea Urquiza”.
“Actualmente se puede circular con trenes de carga porque las normas de seguridad son distintas con respecto a los trenes de pasajeros, pero nuestro sueño, nuestro objetivo, el deseo es volver a tener el tren Mesopotámico”, remarcó.
Sobre el tren de cargas que sale desde Garupá “seguirá funcionando. Hay cuestiones que no se llegan desde Zárate a Buenos Aires, pero tenemos planificado avanzar en este proyecto a mediano y largo plazo, por el estado en la que se encuentra la línea Urquiza”.
