Silicon Misiones recibe al Jazz Day
Desde las 18 en el patio del flamante edificio ubicado en el acceso oeste de la ciudad, se llevará a cabo el evento. Es auspiciado por el Ministerio de Cultura y el Instituto de Previsión Social.
La ciudad de Posadas se prepara para recibir nuevamente el Jazz Day, el evento global promovido por la UNESCO que se realiza simultáneamente en las principales ciudades del mundo.
La versión posadeña se llevará a cabo este sábado 29 de abril en Silicon Misiones, ubicado en la Avenida Ulises López, acceso Oeste de la ciudad. El encuentro inicia a las 18hs y es de entrada libre y gratuita.
Posadas, que cuenta con una escena jazzera en constante expansión, será sede por octava vez de la celebración, contando con el reconocido bass man y principal productor del jazz local, Diego Bergara, como ideólogo y con el apoyo del ministerio de Cultura y Silicon Misiones.
En esta ocasión, el evento contará con la participación de nueve números artísticos, DJs, además del tradicional espacio para la gastronomía y la crew cervecera local. Entre las bandas y artistas que se presentarán se encuentran OkaraJazz, Viento Negro, Unus Mundus Septeto, Kizuko Trío, Itzel Rojas & The Groove Service, Jugo de Tigre, Quintana Bergara Quintana y Mica Salinas Cuarteto, además de los DJs Tato Piatti y Laura Satoris.
El objetivo del Jazz Day, según indica la UNESCO, es “sensibilizar al público en general sobre las virtudes de la música jazz como herramienta educativa y como motor para la paz, la unidad, el diálogo y el refuerzo de la cooperación entre pueblos”. Los gobiernos, las instituciones educativas y la sociedad civil que participan en la promoción del jazz aprovechan esta oportunidad para difundir la idea de que el jazz no es sólo un estilo de música, sino que también contribuye a la construcción de sociedades más inclusivas.
La edición del Jazz Day en Posadas promete ser un encuentro único y diferente, en el que se combinarán la magia del contacto con la naturaleza y la tecnología del espacio Silicon Misiones.
