El auto eléctrico Tito está marcando tendencia en lo que se refiere a este tipo de vehículos: fue el más vendido del año pasado, con casi 200 patentamientos a noviembre y buenas expectativas para este 2023, ya que el el fabricante Coradir aumentará la producción hasta 1500 unidades.
Una de las razones por este crecimiento es la ampliación de la oferta de Tito a diferentes versiones. Así, en menos de un año, a la primera opción de dos puertas, se sumó una edición especial de 5 puertas; y recientemente se agregó otra que cuenta con más potencia y autonomía.
Sin embargo, a la hora de comprar este vehículo, hay un dato clave que no se puede desconocer, y tiene que ver con la habilitación para circulación de este modelo: con Tito no vas a poder viajar a la Costa Atlántica, ni tampoco vas a poder circular por ciertos lugares.
Por qué no podés viajar con el auto eléctrico Tito a la Costa Atlántica
El auto eléctrico Tito tiene restricciones de circulación según la habilitación nacional.
Según Juan Manuel Bareto, presidente de Coradir, «de acuerdo a la homologación realizada por el Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Industrial (INTI), el Tito corresponde a la categoría L7 (b), por lo cual está habilitado para circular en zonas urbanas, recorrido en ciudades o barrios, pero no puede hacerlo en autopistas, semiautopistas, autovías o rutas».

De esta forma, solo podrá transitar dentro de la ciudad, en calles y avenidas, que es donde más cómodo se siente el auto por sus características.
En otras palabras, no se podrán realizar trayectos demasiado extensos que incluyan rutas o autopistas. Esto implica que el dueño de un auto eléctrico Tito no podrá, por ejemplo, viajar desde la Ciudad de Buenos Aires a ninguna localidad de la Costa Atlántica.
De acuerdo a sus prestaciones, es un auto chico, ágil, con una velocidad limitada a 65 km/h, por lo cual subirse a una autopista hará que muchos autos queden atrás apurando la marcha. Y si bien ahora se sumó un modelo con una velicidad de 95 km/h, por su construcción tampoco podrá circular en caminos más rápidos.
En este sentido, un dato a tener en cuenta es que Tito es un auto eléctrico que no cuenta con airbags ni frenos ABS, lo cual hace que sea más seguro para pequeños trechos en contextos con menos tránsito o donde se circule a menor velocidad. Las exigencias que tiene que cumplir se limitan a cinturón de seguridad de 3 puntos.
Dimensiones de Tito y materiales más seguros
Otro dato importante que los usuarios deben conocer a la hora de comprar Tito son sus dimensiones. Este city car mide 2.83 m de largo, 1.50m de ancho y 1.56 de alto, con espacio para dos o cuatro personas.
A favor, tiene el material que se usa para la construcción, ya que es de chapa, mientras que la mayoría de los modelos de producción nacional son de fibra y por eso menos resistentes.
Tito tiene espacio para 2 o 4 pasajeros.
En autonomía, Tito viene de serie con una batería para recorrer 100 kilómetros, y ahora se sumó una alternativa que llega a los 300 km. Según Bareto, aunque es un auto para ciudad y la más chica es suficiente, muchos usuarios prefieren no tener que cargar el auto todas las noches.
La recarga se puede hacer en una toma de corriente estándar de 220V, y el tiempo que demanda para que esté completa es de 6 a 8 horas en caso de hacerlo cuando está totalmente descargada. La potencia es de 4.5KW.
En cuanto a los gastos con este modelo, Tito arranca en u$s16.500 al tipo de cambio oficial, por lo cual actualmente tiene un valor de $2.755.500 (cotización dólar oficial $167). Por otro lado, para recargar la batería, el gasto es 10 a 1 comparado con la nafta, ya que su característica es ser muy económico y ecológico.
