El amplio espacio de los laboratorios, acorde a los trabajos de investigación de estos tiempos, y el confort de las aulas serán parte del nuevo módulo de Farmacia y Bioquímica, que se inaugurará mañana en Posadas. El área depende de la Facultad de Ciencias Exactas, Químicas y Naturales (FCEQyN) de la Universidad Nacional de Misiones (UNaM). El acto, que se realizará a las 9:30hs, contará con la presencia de autoridades provinciales, nacionales, municipales y universitarias.
Lo moderno del edificio se complementa con su amplia capacidad para más de dos mil alumnos, además del plantel docente y no docente. El edificio se encuentra en un terreno localizado entre las avenidas López Torres y Mariano Moreno de Posadas.
La nueva construcción tiene una superficie total de 1246,64 metros cuadrados. Incluye planta baja con hall central, oficinas y sanitarios; primer piso con gabinetes, sanitarios y oficinas y segundo piso con aulas, laboratorios, sanitarios y gabinetes. Esto permitirá ampliar la capacidad del actual del Módulo de Bioquímica y Farmacia.
El terreno fue donado a la UNaM por el Estado Provincial, a través de la Ley XXIV – Nº18 del 2013. Se efectivizó la escritura de la escribanía general de Gobierno en junio de 2016, bajo el mandato del exgobernador Hugo Passalacqua.
Espacios más amplios
Tanto para los docentes como los alumnos, el nuevo edificio brindará espacios más confortables. “Estamos contentos, sobre todo ansiosos por venir a ocupar ya este nuevo espacio”, dijo Paula Repnik, auxiliar y estudiante en investigaciones de esta facultad.
Por su parte, el decano de la FCEQYN, Dardo Martí, enfatizó: “ahora tenemos laboratorios cómodos y muy grandes. Además un gran auditorio de usos múltiples y vale resaltar que todas las oficinas están amobladas”.
Para Marti, este módulo “resuelve más que problemas” al referirse, entre otros, a los estudiantes que debían trasladarse, incluso hasta el Campus. A partir de ahora concentrarán toda su actividad académica en un solo lugar.
Investigaciones
Una vez más, la estudiante Paula Repnik ponderó las dimensiones de los laboratorios. A poco de recibirse en la carrera de farmacia, explicó que está abocada al proyecto de propiedades antimocrobianas de yerba mate frente a bacterias resistentes. Para entenderlo mejor, se trata de una medicina alternativa en base a la yerba.
Esta y otras investigaciones tendrán un mejor desarrollo en los laboratorios, que ya están completamente equipados y dispuestos no solo para el alumnado, sino para la formación de profesionales en distintos posgrados.
