El Mango es el árbol frutal con mayor presencia en Posadas
El candidato a intendente de Posadas y referente ambiental, Fernando Santacruz, hizo la presentación de la actualización Guía de Árboles Frutales. Hasta Abril de 2023, se lleva relevado el 35% de la ciudad, en los cual se registraron 3300 árboles, solamente en espacios públicos y veredas.
En base a esto estiman que una vez terminado el relevamiento en toda la ciudad, Posadas tendría más de 8500 árboles frutales para ser valorados y aprovechados.
Entre sus propuestas para la intendencia, Santacruz plantea la creación de la Cuadrilla de Cosechadores Urbanos. “Esto implicaría cero costos para el municipio, ya que estaría integrado por aquellos ciudadanos que hoy cuentan con algún beneficio o plan social, los cuales en su mayoría realizan tareas de barrido en la actualidad“, manifestó el ambientalista.
Asimismo, comentó que, “una vez recolectados los frutos, los vecinos adheridos al sistema recibirán incentivos que impactarían positivamente, en pagos de impuestos de tasas o servicios de empresas, públicas o privadas”. Además parte de la producción de alimentos realizada por emprendedores locales “serían donados a hogares, comedores y escuelas de la ciudad; generando triple impacto y fomentando el empleo verde“.
La Guía de Árboles frutales se encuentra disponible en el siguiente enlace www.bit.ly/GuiaArbolesFrutales y ya cuenta con el total de 3300 árboles en ella, de los cuales destacan 600 Cítricos, 600 Mangos, 450 Cocoteros, 350 Pitangas y 290 Paltas.
