Un joven de Aristóbulo del Valle apostó a las artes plásticas para crear obras en distintos muros de la ciudad. Esta es la historia de Daniel Steven, quien realiza ilustraciones únicas pese a la discapacidad que tiene en sus manos. Una condición que no le impidió seguir adelante y dedicarse a la profesión que eligió.

Desde niño, está fascinado con la pintura y el dibujo. Eso lo llevó a estudiar en la Facultad de Arte y obtener el profesorado y licenciatura en Artes Plásticas. Al concluir su formación, decidió utilizar su talento para dejar una marca en la comunidad.
“Siempre trato de buscar nuevos desafíos y cosas nuevas. Trato de aportar a la comunidad desde este sector para dejar un recuerdo y patrimonio para todos”, manifestó Steve, al hablar sobre su trabajo.
Para el artista, cada imagen es una oportunidad para expresar sentimientos e ideas con cada pincelada. Aunque se trata de una tarea que lo llena de satisfacción, su familia -al comienzo- no apoyaba. Tuvo que enfrentar prejuicios, incluso de sus más allegados. “Más que nada de mi familia, quiénes pensaban que no lo iba a lograr”, confesó.
Trabajar en el arte lo ayudó a superar muchos complejos y prejuicios que tenía. Por ello, siempre buscó romper barreras. “En esta profesión, uno tiene que llenarse de valor para seguir adelante”, aseguró.
Daniel Steve cree que su talento es un don que Dios le otorgó y lo ayudó muchísimo en el ejercicio de su carrera. “Cada día es una oportunidad nueva para crear algo distinto”, concluyó.
