Cerca del 25% de las viviendas completó el Censo Digital a menos de una semana del operativo presencial

A menos de una semana del 18 de mayo, el Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas y Censo (INDEC) anunció que cerca del 25% de las viviendas respondieron de manera virtual el Censo Nacional 2022. El cuestionario puede completarse hasta el próximo miércoles, momento en que los censistas acudirán a los domicilios de todo el país para recibir el código de finalización o bien, hacer la entrevista presencial.
Durante los últimos días se duplicó el registro de cuestionarios y actualmente se completan 310 mil por día. De hecho, se estima que una de cada cuatro viviendas ya realizó el censo digital. Es decir que son cerca de 12.195.800 personas las que ya respondieron las preguntas de manera virtual.
La modalidad mixta de cuestionario digital y territorial se está implementando por primera vez en la historia del país y se puede completar en www.censo.gob.ar hasta el miércoles 18 de mayo a las 8 de la mañana. A partir de ese momento, los censistas visitarán más de 15 millones de viviendas de todo el país para solicitar el código de finalización del cuestionario o bien, realizar la entrevista presencial.
De acuerdo a lo informado por el INDEC el 35% de las viviendas de La Pampa, Mendoza, Tierra del Fuego y la Ciudad de Buenos Aires completaron el censo digital, mientras que en Entre Ríos, Corrientes y Santiago del Estero lo hizo un 30%. A su vez, se detalló que desde el domingo último el censo digital fue realizado por 310.000 viviendas diarias.

Ante el incremento en la cantidad de cuestionarios completados, el titular del INDEC, Marco Lavagna, destacó a Télam que se podrán conseguir “datos de calidad” y una “reducción en los tiempos del operativo”. Al respecto, se estima que se contará con datos de 46 millones de personas.
Si bien el feriado nacional será el 18 de mayo para que los censistas acudan a las viviendas, el pasado lunes 9 de mayo el censo presencial dio inicio en las zonas rurales, estancias y viviendas colectivas que se encuentran alejadas de la zona urbana. Además, entre la noche del lunes 16 de mayo y la madrugada del martes 17 se hará el censo de personas que viven en situación de calle.
Dado que la modalidad virtual permitirá contar con datos más rápidos, desde el INDEC se estima que la noche de la jornada del Censo se sabrá cuántos habitantes hay en el país y el total de las viviendas. Sin embargo, los datos definitivos se conocerán ocho meses después y los ampliados 13 meses más tarde.
Qué hacer en caso de equivocarse al completar el censo
Una vez que se complete el Censo Digital, se recibirá en el correo electrónico un comprobante de seis caracteres alfanuméricos que deberá ser entregado al censista durante el 18 de mayo.
El cuestionario virtual cuenta con 61 preguntas y deberá ser completado por una sola persona y en nombre de todos los habitantes de la vivienda. Desde el INDEC se aconseja que al momento de hacerlo estén todos los integrantes juntos para contar con los datos de cada uno.
En caso de cometer algún error u olvidar mencionar a uno de los integrantes, no se deberá entregar el código de finalización. Por tal motivo, cuando el censista acuda a la vivienda se tendrá que hacer la entrevista presencial.
Más allá de la modalidad implementada, el cuestionario también cuenta con diferencias en comparación con años anteriores. En esta oportunidad no solo habrá preguntas vinculadas a las viviendas o la estructura de la población, sino que se implementarán temas sobre la autopercepción de identidad de género y autorreconocimiento étnico.
En cuanto a los censistas, el organismo informó que llevarán una pechera con la imagen del Censo 2022, una credencial con datos personales, número de teléfono de la mesa de ayuda y en los casos necesarios, estarán acompañados por personal de Gendarmería y Prefectura Nacional.
