Silvina Batakis asume su cargo como ministra de Economía
La funcionaria designada al frente del Ministerio de Economía tras la renuncia de Martín Guzmán jurará a las 17 horas en el Salón Blanco de la Casa Rosada, informaron fuente de Presidencia.
La designada ministra de Economía, Silvina Batakis asumirá formalmente su cargo este lunes a las 17 horas, tras la salida de Martín Guzmán del Palacio de Hacienda, anticipó en la mañana de este lunes en declaraciones formuladas a la prensa al ingresar a la Casa de Gobierno por el jefe de Gabinete, Juan Manzur.
«Hoy asume la nueva ministra de Economía, una mujer de una gran experiencia, que ha tenido enormes responsabilidades a lo largo de su vida profesional. En el transcurso de la tarde estaría haciéndose cargo del área de Economía», aseveró el ministro coordinador.
La portavoz de la Presidencia, Gabriela Cerruti, confirmó en la noche del domingo la designación de Silvina Batakis como ministra de Economía y la definió como «una reconocida economista que cumplió esa función en la provincia de Buenos Aires entre 2011 y 2015», en referencia al segundo mandato del entonces gobernador y actual ministro de Desarrollo Productivo, Daniel Scioli.
El nombramiento de Batakis fue informado a Télam por fuentes oficiales apenas pasadas las 21.40 del domingo; minutos después Cerruti ratificó la noticia a través de su cuenta en la red social Twitter.
«El Presidente Alberto Fernández designó a Silvina Batakis al frente del Ministerio de Economía. Batakis es una reconocida economista que cumplió esa función en la provincia de Buenos Aires entre 2011 y 2015», posteó la portavoz.
Daniel Scioli, durante su campaña presidencial de 2015 la había mencionado como la que sería su Ministra de Economía en caso de ser electo presidente y, por estas horas, personas muy cercanas al ministro de Desarrollo Productivo afirman que «la considera una gran profesional, muy formada, de gran calidad humana y muy respetada por todos».
Desde 2019 se desempeña como Secretaria de Provincias en el ministerio del Interior, a cargo de Eduardo «Wado» de Pedro.
Desde allí, además de manejar buena parte de la relación entre el Estado Nacional y las Jurisidicciones, fue el cuadro técnico que llevó adelante las negociaciones con el Gobierno de la Ciudad por los fondos destinados al traspaso de la Seguridad.
En ese sentido, en la Casa Rosada se habla del «informe Batakis» para designar al estudio sobre los costos del mencionado traspaso de atribuciones de seguridad al Gobierno porteño.
La designación se produjo tras una jornada atravesada por llamados y encuentros que se aceleraron desde el domingo por la mañana y que tuvo un momento clave en un diálogo telefónico mantenido por el Jefe de Estado y la vicepresidenta Cristina Kirchner.
Ese intercambio contribuyó para que todos los sectores que integran el FdT estuvieran al tanto de las designaciones en análisis y de las medidas que podrían tomarse en las próximas horas.
Para ese contacto aportó lo suyo la titular de Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo, Estela de Carlotto, quien por la tarde habló con el mandatario para gestionarlo.
Una jornada de definiciones
En una jornada donde primó el hermetismo, el presidente Alberto Fernández se reunió durante el domingo en la Residencia de Olivos con su círculo de funcionarios más cercano para definir los cambios en el Gobierno tras la renuncia Guzmán al Ministerio de Economía, tras lo cual surgió la designación de Batakis para reemplazarlo.
A las 11 de la mañana, el portón verde de la Quinta de Olivos, ubicado entre las calles Carlos Villate y Hernán Winemberg, se abrió para recibir al presidente de la Cámara de Diputados, Sergio Massa, que llegó antes de lo anunciado para el encuentro con el primer mandatario.
Un grupo de periodistas se acercó a la camioneta negra Hyundai que trasladaba al líder del Frente Renovador para intentar confirmar su presencia en el lugar, pero las ventanillas altas y el vidrio polarizado dificultaron tener una imagen clara y preanunciaron que en la jornada iba a primar el hermetismo.
La misma situación se repitió durante todo el día en el arribo de cada funcionario, e inclusive la Policía Federal, que se encontraba custodiando la entrada, por precaución colocó conos naranjas sobre la acera para marcar el descenso de velocidad de los vehículos con el fin de cuidar a los periodistas.
Luego de Massa, se sucedieron las llegadas del Secretario General de la Presidencia, Julio Vitobello; la portavoz Gabriela Cerruti y el funcionario de Comunicación y Prensa Marcelo Martín, y fue habilitada la Sala de Prensa, ubicada sobre Villate.
Tras las 14.30, Massa dejó la Quinta de Olivos por el túnel de la Avenida Libertador y se dirigió a otra reunión en Tigre. Volvió, por el mismo lugar, a las 17, sin ser divisado por la prensa.
Entretanto, el secretario de Asuntos Estratégicos, Gustavo Beliz, y el secretario de Comunicación y Prensa, Juan Ross, se sumaron a la reunión.
Sobre el final de la tarde también llegaron el jefe de Gabinete, Juan Manzur, y la secretaria Legal y Técnica, Vilma Ibarra.
Varios vecinos y vecinas que pasaban por el lugar se sorprendían por la presencia de las cámaras de televisión y se quedaban unos minutos a observar para luego continuar con su rutina.
En algunos casos, vehículos que pasaban tocaban bocina a modo de protesta, y en otros casos, ponían los dedos en «V», en muestra de apoyo al Gobierno.
Por la tarde, un hombre llegó con una pancarta que decía «Basta, hasta acá llegamos», y continuó hasta la noche sosteniendo la misma consigna.
Por la noche, una señora se sumó solitaria con una cacerola al reclamo contra el Gobierno, lanzando denuncias al aire como «fuera el comunismo de Argentina».
Sobre el final de la jornada también hubo un aumento de la presencia policial con cambio de guardias por parte de la Policía Federal, hasta que finalmente se supo el nombre de Batakis y la zona volvió a la normalidad.
