Los diputados provinciales Hugo Passalacqua y Martín Cesino continuaron con sus ya tradicionales recorridas por la provincia para conocer de cerca la realidad de los productores misioneros y analizar posibles soluciones en conjunto.
Esta vez se acercaron a la localidad de Colonia Polana, donde fueron recibidos por la intendenta Antonia Medina, con quien visitaron el predio de La Carica, fábrica que elabora pulpa de frutas a base de mamón. Se trata de una fábrica muy singular, ya que que es la única en el país que desarrolla todo el proceso productivo en un mismo establecimiento: desde la plantación y cosecha del mamón, hasta el envasado y envío a distribuidores, que se encuentran principalmente en CABA y la provincia de Buenos Aires.
Durante el proceso productivo se utiliza el mamón como pasta de base para luego saborizar la mezcla con alguna de las variedades frutales que ofrecen en su línea de productos: melón, frutilla, mango y durazno, entre otros. Como les comentó el encargado del lugar, Marcelo Argüello, el mamón tiene como particularidad que permite estirar la vida útil de la pulpa y no contamina el sabor de las otras frutas.
Si bien este producto está destinado principalmente para coctelería, además se puede utilizar en heladería y pastelería, por lo que aún tiene muchísimo margen para seguir creciendo, sobre todo si se tiene en cuenta la importante producción frutal con la que cuenta nuestra provincia.
Passalacqua felicitó al equipo por la visión y la apuesta de realizar todo el proceso productivo y darle valor agregado sin salir de Colonia Polana, “eso significa que ustedes y los misioneros en general estamos haciendo las cosas bien” para dar tranquilidad a emprendedores y empresarios que eligen la provincia para afincarse.
