POSADAS | Piscina olímpica del CePARD: nadadores celebraron su puesta en marcha
La provincia viene apostando por el avance de la infraestructura para distintas disciplinas. A la ya mencionada inauguración del Centro de Lucha y Deportes de Contacto, se puso a disposición la piscina olímpica en las instalaciones del Centro de Alto Rendimiento Deportivo en Posadas.
Luego de que las autoridades provinciales fueran parte de darla a conocer, llegaron las impresiones de Alejandra Lezcano, presidenta de la Federación de Deportes Acuáticos de Misiones, y de Gustavo Breitenbruch, entrenador de natación. “Estamos super felices y cumpliendo un gran sueño”, afirmó Lescano a Canal 12. También hizo hincapié en la importancia que esto conlleva para los competidores, quienes “cumplimos el sueño de tener una federación que es nueva y contar con esta pileta es sumamente importante para nuestros deportistas puedan estar al alcance del resto del país”. La titular de la federación recordó cuando los nadadores que eran seleccionados entrenaban en piletas de 25 metros y resaltó que ahora, “con esta de 50, esperamos hacer crecer mucho a nuestro deporte que tanto amamos”, indicó.
Por otra parte dio detalles de qué deportes abarcará la FEDEMIDDA, que involucrará el waterpolo, el nado sincronizado y el clavado, “que son disciplinas que las queremos desarrollar en la provincia”.
Gustavo Breitenbruch coincidió con Alejandra Lezcano en que esto “es un sueño” y que “lo soñaron generaciones de nadadores y entrenadores, porque no es lo mismo entrenar en una pileta semi-olímpica y correr los campeonatos nacionales e internacionales en una olímpica”.
Por último destacó el clima de la provincia para que se desarrolle esta actividad. “Misiones con la cantidad de ríos y arroyos que hay, además del clima, reúne todas las condiciones para tenerla”, concluyó.
La piscina olímpica instalada en el CePARD tiene 50 metros de largo y medidas estipuladas por la Federación Internacional de Natación.
