La joven que actualmente tiene 21 años rememoró todo lo que vivía con Fernando o «Fer» como ella lo llamaba: «Bailábamos todo el tiempo, cantábamos con karaoke, jugábamos, nos pintábamos la cara, le maquillaba o él me maquillaba a mí, nos divertíamos con cualquier cosa», relataba visiblemente sentida por su ausencia.
El pasado 3 de enero, en el marco del juicio por el asesinato de Fernando Báez Sosa, asesinado a golpes en la puerta de la discoteca «Le Brique» de Villa Gesell en manos de los ocho rugbiers, Rossi debía declarar, pero no se presentó porque todavía tiene presente en su memoria el traumático evento de aquel 18 de enero del 2020.
Rossi, en el material audiovisual, rememoró todo lo que significaba para ella su novio Fernando: «Mi compañero de aventuras, porque hacía todo con él. Teníamos muchas cosas qué hacer», lamentó. Afirma que ella siente que él está solo en el cementerio, por lo que lo visita a diario: «Trato de ir todos los días al cementerio porque si no, siento que está solo» indicó. Le lleva flores, comida y es el momento en que habla con él, aunque ella hable sola.
Confió que «no me puedo caer ahora, porque si la familia está mal, los amigos están mal, alguien tiene que hacer algo», señaló, como de alguna manera tenerlo presente y pedir justicia para él. La joven, desde hace tres años en que ocurrió el asesinato, participa de todas las marchas y manifestaciones que se hacen para pedir justicia para Fernando.
