Al inspeccionar la cabina del conductor, los funcionarios detectaron una caja de cartón, que se encontraba escondida en la parte superior de la cama. Al abrir la misma, los gendarmes hallaron una gran cantidad de billetes de moneda extranjera.
Se contabilizó un total de 100.000 reales, sin documentación que avale su legal tenencia o transporte.
El Juzgado Federal y la Fiscalía Federal de Paso de Los Libres dispusieron el decomiso del dinero hallado y el secuestro del celular del involucrado, quien quedó supeditado a la causa por presunta en infracción al Art. 303 del Código Penal Argentino (Delitos Contra el Orden Económico y Financiero).
