Firman un convenio para fortalecer la seguridad en el transporte
El conveio avanzara en el desarrollo de actividades conjuntas tendientes a fortalecer la seguridad en todos los modos de transporte dedicado a pasajeros o carga, mediante la realización de asesoramiento técnico recíproco, actividades de capacitación e investigación e intercambio de información.

Con este acuerdo, la provincia de Misiones se comprometió a reportar de forma inmediata todos los accidentes e incidentes aeronáuticos, ferroviarios, fluviales o lacustres que ocurran en su jurisdicción y aquellos incidentes de automotores donde se vean involucrados cualquier vehículo que realice transporte de cargas o pasajeros, como por ejemplo camiones o colectivos.
El aviso rápido e inmediato es fundamental para el desarrollo de la investigación de las tareas de los distintos equipos de la JST, ya que facilita que los investigadores acudan de manera veloz al lugar del hecho, preserven el escenario y hagan una valoración íntegra de la situación, permitiendo que se haga un análisis correcto de lo sucedido y se puedan emitir las recomendaciones preventivas acordes para evitar hechos similares.
Al respecto, Julián Obaid afirmó: “Para todos los que somos parte de la JST es muy importante la firma de este convenio con la provincia de Misiones. Si bien la JST es un organismo de competencia nacional, ponemos nuestra capacidad de investigación, nuestros profesionales y nuestros recursos tecnológicos al servicio de las provincias para que ellas también puedan trabajar en el análisis de datos para generar nuevas políticas públicas basadas en información científica. Todos los días renovamos nuestro compromiso con mejorar la seguridad en el transporte, con cuidar la vida de todos los argentinos y las argentinas y contar con la colaboración del gobierno misionero para esto es para nosotros un motivo de orgullo”.
Durante la actividad, el ministro de Gobierno Marcelo Pérez explicó: “Simplemente transmitir la importancia de firmar un acuerdo, un convenio con la Junta de Seguridad en el Transporte, que va a relevar todos los datos que enviará la Provincia para poder elaborar proyectos, que después podrán ser trasladados a otras áreas para que lleguen inversiones a la Provincia y verdaderamente hacer un país federal, construyendo un país cuyo transporte, comunicaciones tengan que ver con la integración del mundo y no como durante muchos años se hizo concentrando exclusivamente en el puerto de Buenos Aires”.
La JST es un organismo descentralizado en la órbita del Ministerio de Transporte de la Nación, creado en el mes de abril de 2020 mediante la Ley 27.514 y la Resolución 98/2020. Se trata del primer organismo de investigación multimodal de Iberoamérica que investiga accidentes e incidentes ocurridos en el transporte automotor, ferroviario, marítimo y aéreo. Su objetivo no es buscar responsabilidades civiles y/o penales.
