Elegir el Camino
Este fin de semana largo se produjo un nuevo boom turístico en la provincia, con todo lo que ello conlleva (el incremento de la actividad económica involucra a amplios sectores y actores), que no se explican únicamente por las bondades y maravillas naturales de Misiones. Atrás de este éxito hay un plan ejecutado hace ya varios años.
El viernes pasado se publicó en los canales oficiales un adelanto del movimiento turístico de este fin de semana largo de junio. Según los primeros relevamientos del Observatorio Argentino de Turismo (OAT), se pronosticaba un movimiento intenso por todo el país. Las estimaciones fueron apuntaladas, entre otras, por el impacto del programa “PreViaje”, que aportará $10.070 millones a las economías regionales durante el receso.
El presidente de la Cámara Argentina de Turismo (CAT), Gustavo Hani, expresaba que “Los datos de generación de nuevos empleos, crecimiento del turismo interno y del receptivo, generando un importante ingreso de divisas, así como el impulso innegable de cada edición del PreViaje nos permiten decir que el turismo es un motor que sigue demostrando su fuerza y empuje. Ninguna otra actividad tiene impacto en cada rincón del país a lo largo de todo el año, vamos a seguir trabajando para fortalecer nuestra industria porque sabemos que es un fuerte impulsor de la economía de Argentina”. Puerto Iguazú, Salta, San Carlos de Bariloche, la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Ushuaia, Termas de Río Hondo, Villa Carlos Paz, Merlo y Mar del Plata encabezan el listado de destinos elegidos por los 140 mil turistas que utilizaron el programa del Ministerio de Turismo y Deportes de la Nación.
En el medio de este largo veranillo que siguen atravesando las actividades comerciales, el turismo, como vemos uno de los principales, persisten en las noticias diarias los datos de inflación, generados entre tantos factores por el crawling peg, explicada como una devaluación progresiva de la moneda,principalmente en el dólar mayorista, la cual el FMI exige que debe tener un aumento similar al de inflación y que casualmente es al que se atan los precios de los alimentos y todos aquellos que entrar en el rubro de “regulados”, básicamente en los que terminan interviniendo o derramando aumentos en muchos aspectos de la vida cotidiana: combustibles, transportes, servicios, gastronomía, prácticamente ataca a casi todos los productos y/o servicios que utilizamos día a día.
Y no dejemos de lado la especulación, como último dato de este, la inflación acumulada en los primeros cinco meses del año lleva 41% contra un tipo de cambio que avanzó 35%. En contrapartida, observamos que se mantienen prácticamente abiertas las paritarias para todos los sectores formales de empleo privado a fines de sostener, algunos con gran esfuerzo y otros no tanto, la menor pérdida de poder adquisitivo de los trabajadores, principalmente en la clase media baja, media y media alta, explicado como el gran tercio decisorio para las próximas elecciones.
Retomando lo que decíamos al inicio del texto, a pesar de estos datos de inflación, la misma se mezcla con niveles de actividad y empleo muy saludables donde Misiones es uno de los principales exponentes en esta materia: una temporada económica extra larga que comenzó en la pandemia y se sigue sosteniendo, encabezando indicadores del país referidos a crecimiento económico, generación de empleo, ventas del comercio, consumo y turismo, como lo remarcaba el presidente de la Cámara Argentina de Turismo.
Tomando como referencia este último ítem, pensado como uno de los pilares de la provincia dado que Misiones ha dejado de ser destino solo de semana santa e invierno, para posicionarse como destino casi regular en el año, se han recopilado datos para este fin de semana largo que de acuerdo a los primeros informes del Observatorio Argentino de Turismo (OAT), se espera un notable incremento, generando un movimiento estimado de unos 9.000 millones de pesos entre los sectores privados de la tierra colorada.
En esta ocasión, el sostenido turismo brasilero y paraguayo se ve incrementado con visitantes de otras provincias y con el fanatismo que despierta el automovilismo, causó una ocupación plena en Posadas. En este sentido, Misiones alcanzó el 95% de ocupación y las localidades más visitadas son Puerto Iguazú, Posadas y El Soberbio acompañado por la mejoría del clima, haciendo que el disfrute sea pleno. Las Cataratas registran un ingreso promedio de 3.600 turistas sumando el dato de que el turismo extranjero creció 20% en comparación con 2022, con su mayoría proveniente de Brasil, Paraguay y Uruguay, luego le siguen Estados Unidos, Francia, Italia e Inglaterra.
Por lo tanto, elegir el camino es esto, decidir sobre lo que se quiere buscar hacia un futuro inmediato, acompañar una decisión de desaceleración de la inflación sin dejar de trabajar en sostener el desarrollo de la clase media y mejorar las oportunidades para las clases postergadas, en este apartado se hizo hincapié en algunos números y el buen pasar del sector del turismo, el cual suma y dinamiza al de la gastronomía, comercio local, combustibles e indumentaria, entre tantos otros. Este es uno de los motivos por el que la economía real no responde a soluciones rápidas y grandilocuentes expuestas en los prime time de la tv por cable, donde los que manejan los hilos detrás de esos telones sostienen siempre la misma ecuación en sus respuestas, la mayoría de los argentinos sufre sus ajustes y desbarajustes mientras que el 1% de la población sale victorioso y con nuevos negocios o mayor participación de mercado en sectores claves de la argentina.
Las heridas están frescas sobre lo que es tener inflación provocada por una devaluación de la moneda facilitando la fuga de capitales y especulación financiera, sin inversión local, con pérdida real del poder adquisitivo, pérdidas masivas de empleo, eliminación de hasta el ministerio de Salud de la República Argentina y una vez más con organismos internacionales controlando la soberanía de un país. La realidad actual está lejos del ideal que se busca, pero la decisión de mantener y sostener al misionero con trabajo y oportunidades de desarrollo no se negocian.
