¿Por qué es feriado el 20 de noviembre?
El Día de la Soberanía Nacional es en memoria a la batalla de la Vuelta de Obligado de 1845, en la que soldados argentinos repelieron la invasión del ejército anglo-francés que pretendía colonizar los territorios del país. Se trata del 20 de este mes, que cae en domingo, y cuyo feriado se trasladará al lunes 21, por lo que junto al sábado 19, tendremos un finde largo.
Dicho feriado coincide con el inicio del Mundial de Fútbol, pautado para el 20, aunque cabe consignar que Argentina recién debutará el martes 22 de noviembre, a las 7 am, ante Arabia Saudita.
Por su parte, en diciembre tendremos el feriado extra larga: el Día de la Virgen del 8 cae jueves, pero el viernes 9 se hace puente, y conecta directo con el sábado 10 y domingo 11.
