Desde Encarnación resaltan que la conexión aérea Encarnación – Buenos Aires potenciará el turismo
Que Aerolíneas Argentinas pueda utilizar el aeropuerto de Encarnación para sus vuelos internacionales mientras permanezca cerrado el de Posadas, será una oportunidad importante.
La idea de conectar directamente la capital argentina con la Perla del Sur, Encarnación de Paraguay, ya está generando amplias expectativas para el turismo receptivo así como ampliar las posibilidades de volar directamente hasta allí, a más de que se recibirá vuelos internacionales.
Esto, tras la información por parte de la Provincia de Misiones, Argentina, con base en la necesidad de utilizar el aeropuerto de Encarnación en reemplazo de su terminal aérea; el Aeropuerto Internacional Libertador General José de San Martín de Posadas que permanecerá cerrado hasta el mes de agosto aproximadamente para ser sometido a obras de refacciones en la pista, torre de control y remodelaciones.
Al respecto, el intendente de la ciudad de Encarnación, Luis Yd, manifestó que efectivamente, en meses más se podrían dar vuelos directos Encarnación-Buenos Aires.
“Encarnación es un crisol de culturas, una oportunidad importante para el turismo, y será una puerta para que Encarnación así como Asunción, tenga conexiones con el mundo”, expresó para radio 1000 AM.
Peritaje de la terminal
Explicó que la empresa Aerolíneas Argentina requiere de un peritaje sobre las condiciones de la pista del aeropuerto de Encarnación, cuya construcción data de unos 15 años, y que actualmente se realiza un estudio técnico sobre la terminal, y que una vez concluido será enviado a la Argentina de modo a que la compañía aérea pueda tener garantías para arribar con sus aeronaves.
El jefe de la comuna encarnacena señaló igualmente que desde todo punto de vista, la conexión será más que importante para la ciudad, pues recibirá el nombre de “internacional”, lo cual permita el ingreso de naves importantes, convirtiendo a Encarnación en un punto referencial para vuelos transnacionales.
Hay que mencionar que Encarnación ya representa un atractivo interesante para muchos argentinos, en especial a los vecinos más cercanos de la provincia de Misiones, por la variedad de playas que ofrece, la costanera, variedad de opciones gastronómicas y hoteleras para el disfrute, además de la serie de actividades que se prevé en el año en variados rubros, y ser la capital del departamento de Itapúa, que a la vez dispone de circuitos turísticos como el de la yerba mate.
