Comenzó la vacunación antigripal
El Ministerio de Salud de la provincia dio a conocer que la población objetivo a inmunizar alcanza 279.658 misioneros, de los cuales 12 mil son parte del sistema de salud. La cifra total representa casi 20 mil personas más que el año pasado.
Sucede que para la temporada 2022, al grupo objetivo se agregó el personal estratégico, que incluye docentes y fuerzas de seguridad, entre otros.
“La vacuna antigripal es una herramienta eficaz para proteger la enfermedad, además, contribuye a limitar la circulación viral en la comunidad, disminuye la internación, las complicaciones, las secuelas y la mortalidad. La vacuna antigripal se aplica en forma anual, es gratuita y está en hospitales y Centros de Atención Primaria de la Salud (Caps) de la provincia”, había manifestado el jefe de Inmunizaciones, Roberto Lima, mediante un comunicado oficial emitido por la cartera sanitaria provincial.

A diferencia del fármaco contra el Covid-19, la vacuna antigripal fue incorporada en 2011 al Calendario Nacional de Vacunación y es de aplicación anual, destinada a la población con mayor riesgo de morbilidad y mortalidad.
Es así que además de personal de salud y mayores de 65 años, están contemplados en este grupo: niñas y niños entre 6 y 24 meses, embarazadas en cualquier mes de gestación, puérperas (mujeres que dieron recientemente a luz) si no recibieron durante el embarazo y personas de 2 a 64 años con factores de riesgo.
En el marco de la campaña antigripal, desde el Cofesa se pidió reforzar la oportunidad de coadministración con la vacuna contra coronavirus.
“También se pide fortalecer la comunicación y difusión sobre la importancia de aplicar la dosis de refuerzo previo al eventual aumento del número de casos y la llegada de los meses fríos”, señalaron las autoridades.

Niños de entre 6 y 24 meses de edad inclusive Mayores de 65 años
Con factores de riesgo Personas de entre 2 y 64 años, inclusive, con factores de riesgo: enfermedades respiratorias crónicas, enfermedades cardíacas, Inmunodeficiencias congénitas o adquiridas (no oncohematológica), pacientes oncohematológicos y trasplantados, obesidad mórbida, diabetes, insuficiencia renal crónica en diálisis o expectativas de ingresar a diálisis en los siguientes seis meses, retraso madurativo grave en menores de 18 años de edad, síndromes genéticos, enfermedades neuromusculares con compromiso respiratorio y malformaciones congénitas graves, tratamiento crónico con ácido acetilsalicílico en menores de 18 años.
