Por ello, la Dirección General de Seguridad Vial y Turismo de la Policía de Misiones recuerda a los conductores tomar conciencia sobre la importancia de llevar consigo las documentaciones requeridas. No por temor a los controles, sino por la seguridad de cada uno de los que viajan.
A diario hay movimiento tanto de turistas que visitan la provincia como las familias misioneras que se trasladan de una localidad a otra. Ante este panorama se intensificaron los controles preventivos en ruta.
Además del llamado a circular con precaución, la Policía recuerda que es obligatorio transitar con la licencia de conducir. Generalmente, el conductor la exhibe de manera física, aunque está la opción de mostrarlo de forma virtual. Esta opción es ideal para los turistas de otras provincias y países.
También es obligatorio y, sin excepciones, contar con la Verificación Técnica Vehicular. Esta documentación es sumamente importante, ya que demuestra que las condiciones del rodado son óptimas. Tener la VTV garantiza un auto en condiciones y sus ocupantes pueden viajar seguros.
Seguro al día y cédula verde
En los controles policiales, también se exige el comprobante de seguro al día. En este caso, al igual que con las licencias, el conductor tiene la opción de exhibir la documentación digital.
Otra que debe estar si o si en la guantera es la cédula verde para acreditar la legitimidad del vehículo. Por lo general, los conductores suelen tenerlo. Y desde hace algunos años también se puede presentar la digital.
Seguridad Vial y Turismo recuerda que deben viajar tantas personas como cantidad de cinturones de seguridad haya en un vehículo. Las infancias con menos de 12 años deben ir en los asientos de atrás. Los más chicos deben viajar en butacas acondicionadas para su mejor seguridad.
Atentos motociclistas
La VTV también es obligatoria para las motos. Además, es importante recordar que las legislaciones vigentes prohíben que circulen más de dos personas en una moto. El uso del casco es fundamental para motociclistas y acompañantes.
El artículo 40 de Ley Nacional de Tránsito Nº24.449 señala que es obligatorio llevar casco homologado. Si la moto no tiene parabrisas, se debe usar anteojos.
